Wow Season of Discovery is bringing druid players more fun with wow sod druid runes. Here's where to find and discover all of them.
There will be 12 distinct runes in World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 1 for every class in the game. We will update this page once we have more details about the druid runes and their locations.
We'll examine every runes and its location to help you find your playstyle in WoW Season of Discovry and fully optimize your builds. Now, let's get going!

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Living Seed Rune - Chest


Effect: When you critically heal your target with any healing spell you plant a Living Seed on the target for 30% of the amount healed. The Living Seed will bloom when the target is next attacked. Lasts 15 sec.
Locations: 

Tauren:

To create a Flower Crown, you must plunder three prairie flowers. The next step is to locate and place the crown atop the Wooden Effigy mob (37.7, 49.5). Next, a Level 7 Elite Mob will appear, which you must destroy to obtain the rune. 

Night Elf:

To create a Flower Crown, you must plunder three Glade Flowers. Next, locate the Wooden Idol mob at ( 66.9, 57.5) and set the crown atop it. Next, a Level 7 Elite Mob will appear, which you must destroy to obtain the rune.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Wild Strikes Rune - Chest


Effect: While you are in Cat Form, Bear Form, or Dire Bear Form, party members within 20 yards gain increased combat ferocity.  Each melee hit has a 20% chance of granting the attacker an extra attack with 20% additional Attack Power. No effect if the party member is already benefitting from Windfury Totem.
Locations: 

Alliance or Horde:

Kill the Grimtotem Ruffian at the southeast entrance to the Stonetalon Mountains to join. Additional Grimtotem foes also function.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Fury of Stormrage Rune - Chest


Effect: Reduces the mana cost of Wrath by 100% and each time you deal damage with Wrath you have a 12% chance for your next cast of Healing Touch within 15 sec to be instant.(Proc chance: 12%)
Locations: 

Tauren:

You must be at Level 4. To obtain a Lunar Idol, you must plunder the Chest in Bramleblade Ravine (61, 76). You must eliminate six enemies impacted by your Moonfire ability to use this item. After finishing, use the item once more to obtain the rune. 

Night Elf:

You must be at Level 4. To complete the moss-gathering quest, you must kill Grell and retrieve the quest from the Druid trainer in the starting area. After finishing, you'll receive the Lunar Idol. Use the Lunar Idol again after taking out six Moonfire-affected mobs to obtain the rune.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Survival of the Fittest Rune - Chest


Effect: Reduces the chance you'll be critically hit by melee attacks by 6% and reduces all damage taken by 10%. Damage taken reduced by an additional 10% while in Bear Form or Dire Bear Form.
Locations: 

Horde and Alliance: 

Visit Ratchet in the Barrens and speak with Grizzby at the Inn. To complete his quests, you must gather the following items:

24x Fish Oil

(Naga and Murlocs from Hillsbrad Foothills, for example). Dark Iron Dwarfs in wetlands drop

20x Dark Iron Ordinance

. 

16 Shredder Turbochargers

(Engineered to Perfection).  

A drop from Sneed in Deadmines is the recipe

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Starsurge Rune - Legs


Effect: 3% of base mana, 35 yd range, Instant cast, 10-sec cooldown. Launch surging stellar energies that causes (135/100*) to (165/100*) Arcane damage. Starsurge benefits from and triggers most talents and effects that trigger or benefit from Wrath or Starfire.
Locations: 

Alliance and Horde:

Go to the marshlands at (36, 15) and speak with the dwarf; he gives you a mushroom. Eat the mushroom by going to the pool at (31, 18). To obtain the rune, converse with the frog.
Update 14Feb.2024: 

Huge Nerf Druid

: The base damage of Starsurge has been

reduced by 35%

. Additionally, blizzard identified and fixed a bug in the Starsurge spell power coefficient, which has now been corrected. Starsurge should be properly gaining 42.9% of spellpower as damage now, as intended. To compensate for this adjustment, they will add an effect to Starsurge that causes your next Starfire to cause 66% extra damage. The intent is not to significantly nerf overall druid damage output but merely to reduce the efficiency of Starsurge specifically and shift the damage output of druids further towards their hard-cast abilities, such as Starfire.
Update 16Feb.2024: Starsurge was incorrectly getting 30% additional critical strike chance when Eclipse (Lunar) was active. It now only gets 30% increased critical strike chance from Eclipse (Solar).
Update 20Feb.2024: Starsurge bonus damage to Starfire increased to 80%, addressing a bug that caused the bonus damage to be lower than intended at level 40.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Lifebloom Rune - Legs


Effect: 28% of base mana, 40 yd range,Instant cast. Heals the target for (4/100*7*) over 7 sec.  When Lifebloom completes its duration or is dispelled, the target instantly heals for (57/100*) and the Druid regains half the cost of the spell.  This effect can stack up to 3 times on the same target.
Locations: 

Tauren:

To start a ritual, speak to the corpse (60, 33). Additional party members will be required to complete the ritual.  After that, a spirit will materialize and grant you the rune. 

Night Elf:

There is a skeleton on the ground next to the harpies on the north side of Teldrassil (33, 35) that you must speak to. After you click on it, a summon will appear, requiring the assistance of another group member to complete the ritual. After that, a spirit will materialize and grant you the rune.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Skull Bash Rune - Legs


Effect: 25 Energy/10 Rage, 13 yd range,Instant cast, 10-sec cooldown, Requires Cat Form, Bear Form, Dire Bear Form. Charge to a target within 13 yards and bash the target's skull, interrupting spellcasting and preventing any spell in that school from being cast for 2 sec. Shares a cooldown with Feral Charge.

Alliance:

After obtaining Honored, it can be bought for 4 Gold and 50 Silver from the Azeroth Commerce Authority faction. 

Horde:

After obtaining Honored, it can be bought for 4 Gold and 50 Silver from the Durotar Supply and Logistics faction.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Savage Roar Rune - Legs


Effect: 25 Energy, 100 yd range , Instant cast. Finishing move that increases physical damage done by 30% while in Cat Form.  Lasts longer per combo point: 1 point: 14 seconds. 2 points: 19 seconds. 3 points: 24 seconds. 4 points: 29 seconds. 5 points: 34 seconds.
Locations: 

Tauren:

To locate the Ferocious Idol, you must open Kolkar's Booty Chests. You must inflict 20 instances of bleeding damage to humanoids after equipping it. Use the Ferocious Idol once more after finishing to obtain the rune. 

Night Elf:

To obtain the Ferocious Idol, you must vanquish Den Mother. You must inflict 20 instances of bleeding damage to humanoids after equipping it. Once finished, obtain the rune by using the Ferocious Idol once more.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Sunfire Rune - Gloves


Effect: 21% of base mana, 30 yd range, Instant cast. Burns the enemy for (130*/100) to (152*/100) Nature damage and then an additional (65*4*/100) Nature damage over 12 sec.
Locations: 

Tauren:

To complete the task, locate three white lunar stones (35.72,69.61) and apply Moonfire to each one. The rune will then materialize inside a chest that appears. 

Night Elf:

To complete the task, locate three white Lunar Stones (63.2, 64.2) and apply Moonfire to each one. The rune will then materialize inside a chest that appears.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Lacerate Rune - Gloves


Effect: 15 Rage, Melee Range,Instant cast,Requires Bear Form, Dire Bear Form. Lacerates the enemy target, making them bleed for (*20/100*5) damage over 15 sec plus 20% weapon damage per existing application of Lacerate on the target. Causes a high amount of threat. This effect stacks up to 5 times on the same target.

Tauren:

You have to transport the eggs (44,22 to 48,40) from one pond to the other.

Night Elf:

In Darkshore, you must feed the crabs bait from Furlbogs.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Wild Growth Rune - Gloves


Effect: 56% of base mana, 40 yd range, Instant Cast, 6-sec cooldown. Heals all of target player's party members within 40 yards of target player for (34/100*7*) over 7 sec. The amount healed is applied quickly at first, and slows down as Wild Growth reaches its full duration.
Locations: 

Horde & Alliance: 

Proceed to Ashenvale (89, 41). Turn on the owl statue to begin the celebration. You will be attacked by two level 25 enemies in 6 waves. Proceed to the Twilight Grove at (50, 35) coordinates. After interacting with the statue, kill the boar Agon. Navigate to Hillsbrad Foothills and use the coordinates (36, 75) and (53, 81) to activate the statues. To start the second statue, you have a mere two minutes remaining. Take the three symbols to the Druid trainer after teleporting to Moonglade.

WoW SoD Phase 1 Druid Runes - Mangle Rune - Gloves


Effect: Gain the

Mangle (Bear)

ability and replace your Claw ability with

Mangle (Cat)

. This ability benefits from and triggers all effects associated with Claw and Maul.

Mangle (Bear)

Mangle the target for 160% normal damage and cause the target to take 30% additional damage from Bleed effects and Shred for 1 min. This ability benefits from and triggers all effects associated with Claw and Maul.

Mangle (Cat) 

Mangle the target for 300% normal damage and cause the target to take 30% additional damage from Bleed effects and Shred for 1 min.  Awards 1 combo point. This ability benefits from and triggers all effects associated with Claw and Maul.
Loactions: 

Tauren:

In Mulgore, you must acquire the Idol of Ursine Rage from a Flatland Prowler. You must hold your anger at 50 or higher for a minimum of sixty seconds after obtaining the item in order to obtain the rune. 

Night Elf:

Rageclaw in Teldrassil is where you must acquire the Idol of Ursine Rage. You must hold your anger at 50 or higher for a minimum of sixty seconds after obtaining the item in order to obtain the rune.
