Rune Engraving is a new system in Wow Season of Discovery that allows players to use skills added in future DLCs. It brings a lot of excitement and changes to the gameplay of WoW Classic 60s.

Nothing is more remarkable for Warrior players than having access to some of the future DLC skills in the early game. We can combine these new runes in-game to create a new Warrior Build, with a total of 34 runes available so far. This opens up endless possibilities and promises an exhilarating experience.

This article will provide detailed information on the 7 runes for Warrior and where or how to obtain them. We will keep updating this page with more details about the Warrior Runes and their locations as they become available.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Cloak - Fresh Meat

Rune Effect: Damaging a target with Bloodthirst has a 100% chance the first time and a 10% chance each subsequent time to Enrage you (activating abilities which requiring being Enraged), and cause you to deal 10% increased Physical damage for 12 sec.

Rune Location: Head to the Blackrock Stronghold in Burning Steppes (43,36). While at the Stronghold, kill 5 enemies consecutively to gain the Rhythm of War buff. Then, head to (39,27) behind the keep, where you will find an altar. Use the /salute command in front of the altar to spawn the Revered Champion. Defeat this mob to earn the Rune.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Cloak - Sudden Death

Rune Effect: Your melee hits have a 10% chance to grant Sudden Death. Sudden Death allows one use of Execute regardless of the target's health state. When Execute is enabled by Sudden Death, you will retain 10 rage after using Execute.

Rune Location: Find the Wandering Swordsman: Go to Silithus and locate the Wandering Swordsman. He spawns in various locations, primarily along the vertical middle third of the zone. Click here to see a map with known spawns.

Pick Up the Quest: Interact with the Wandering Swordsman to accept the quest Infinite Midnight.

Defeat the Titanic Watcher: You will be teleported to a platform where you must defeat the Titanic Watcher, who spawns adds during the encounter.

Choose Difficulty: Before the fight, select one of three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, or Hard. Choosing Easy will result in mockery and no reward. Completing the Medium or Hard-difficulty quest will earn you the Timeless Wanderer's Insights.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Cloak - Shockwave

Rune Effect: Sends a wave of force in front of the warrior, causing (50 / 100 * Attack power) damage and stunning all enemy targets within 10 yards in a frontal cone for 4 sec.

Rune Location: To start the quest "Beach Bot Beach Bot," head to the southern coast of Tanaris and find the Half-Buried Mech at (59.2, 91.5). Click on it twice to accept and complete the quest.

After that, start the "Mechanical Romance" quest and look for the NPC Spike Lakeman. Follow him as he swims, and use the Guided Buoyancy Accelerant if you don't have Water Treads. Then, turn the quest into Sebastian Jurgens on a remote island. While on the island, pick up the quest "Frosty Favors" from the back of an oil rig.

Next, travel to Winterspring and turn in "Frosty Favors" to Numi at 61.2, 37.0 in Everlook. Start the "Red Bag Blues" quest and travel to Burning Steppes to find the Red Bag.

Afterward, pick up the quest "Poacher's Den" and kill the level 59 mobs Blackrock Bootlegger and Sulfuron Smuggler to collect the Vertically Composited Patch Hampler and Brass-fitted Flam-Tamp Flange. You can also find some parts on the ground. Return to Everlook to turn in "Poacher's Den" and pick up "Bookin' it Back," which sends you back to the island in Tanaris.

Hand in "Bookin' it Back" to Sebastian Jurgens to start the follow-up quest "Rift Away." Follow Sebastian Jurgens down to the teleporter, and he will teleport you to Westfall or Tirisfal Glades.

Finally, talk to the NPC, summon Harvest Golem V000-A, and engage in a fight. The fight will have three phases:

1. Kick Harvest Golem V000-A casts

2. Kite Harvest Golem V000-A, so the armor stacks fall off

3. Use Shield Wall to survive the hits.

Loot the Mech Arm on the ground for "Premonition and Combat Foresight," which teaches you this rune!

Rune Effect: Skill with Axes and Two-Handed Axes increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Read the red book The Rites of Mak'Gora in Burning Steppes in Blackrock Stronghold at （39.9 34.1）. Learn Rune of Axe Specialization from this book.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Ring -

Defense Specialization

Rune Effect: Defense skill increased by 25. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: The red book "Zirene's Guide to Getting Punched" is located at the actual entrance of LBRS, in the hallway behind the meeting stone. To find it, go up the ramp and turn into the first room on the right; you will see the book lying just to the right of the red and yellow flag on top of the rubble.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Ring - Dagger Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Daggers increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Find the red book in Silithus at (20, 85), in a tent closest to Ahn'Qiraj. Please read it to learn this rune.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Ring - Fist Weapon Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Fist Weapons (Unarmed) increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: The book can be found in Silithus around coordinates (37,45). It is shrouded in Twilight, which might make it a bit hard to spot.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Ring - Mace Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Maces and Two-Handed Maces increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Head to the top of Grim Batol in the Wetlands, around (73, 76). There will be a clickable object next to the door; interacting with it will earn this Rune.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Ring - Pole Weapon Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Staves and Polearms increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: In Azshara, inside the Temple of Arkkoran, around coordinates (78, 38), there is a book located on the Moonwell. Opening the book will grant you the Rune of Pole Weapon Specialization.

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Ring - Ranged Weapon Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Bows, Guns, Crossbows, and Thrown weapons increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Ranged Weapon Specialization can be obtained at Marris Stead in Eastern Plaguelands, located at coordinates (26, 74).

WoW SoD Phase 4 warrior runes - Engrave Ring - Sword Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Swords and Two-Handed Swords increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: The book for this Rune is located beneath Karazhan in the Master's Cellar, hidden behind two pillars. Make sure to travel into the cave segment to ensure you're in the correct location.
