Just now, Blizzard officially released a preview news about the Season of Discovery Phase 2. Today, following MMOJUGG, let's take a look at the new pvp event on Stranglethorn Vale called - The Blood Moon.
This event adds an element of chaos to Stranglethorn Vale, with the Blood Moon shining above the area and casting an eerie red fog on the zone. Based on the experience gained from the Ashenvale PvP event during Phase 1, this event has been designed to occur on a more predictable timetable, allowing players to plan for their participation.
-New Event-
The Blood Moon occurs every 3 hours and lasts for 30 minutes. It takes place in Stranglethorn Vale.
In this particular event, eliminating other players can help you earn a certain currency, which can be used to obtain different rewards. Although you are still allowed to team up with your allies, be aware that the Blood Moon is an unforgiving force and may penalize those in large raid groups.
Those who prefer to live in peace and harmony with the land can opt out of the event by speaking with the Zandalari Emissary. However, it is important to note that you cannot earn any rewards from the event if you opt-out. Additionally, it is important to remember that the general realm PvP rules will still apply regardless of whether you participate in the event.
The Stranglethorn Vale PvP event will not have any PvP objectives. However, you should remain alert, as the Chosen of the Blood Loa will be present, and they are not to be underestimated. They are a formidable force and can eliminate anyone who stands in their way.
-New PvP Rewards-
You can visit the merchant outside the Gurubashi Arena to spend your currency on new rewards. Players will have the opportunity to earn new rewards that are specific to their class.

-New Mounts * 2-
Participating in an event allows players to acquire two new faction-agnostic mounts with new appearances. The mounts are available at level 40.

-New Quests:-
It will help you gain reputation with Arathi Basin, as there are no associated world buffs.
-New PvP Updates-
Blizzard's developers are making some additional adjustments to our matchmaking system. They said they understand that it can be frustrating for solo players to match against groups, so they want to ensure that their changes do not impact the queues. To address this, they are implementing two changes. If you are in a group of five or fewer players, you will have a higher chance of matching against other groups of five or fewer. Similarly, if you are in a group of six or more players, you will have a higher chance of matching with other groups of six or more. This will ensure that more premade groups are matched with premade groups and non-premade groups are matched with other non-premade groups when possible. However, to avoid longer queues, the system will ignore these rules after a certain period if we notice it causing delays. In such cases, the system will match you with the first available players to ensure that you can start playing as soon as possible.
-New Ashenvale Updates-
Ashenvale will be on a 3-hour timer in Phase 2. The weekly quest world buff won't apply to players above level 39.
