WoW SoD: Phase 3 Warrior Runes&Locations

Rune Engraving is a new system in Wow Season of Discovery that allows players to use skills added in future DLCs. It brings a lot of excitement and changes to the gameplay of WoW Classic 60s.

Nothing is more remarkable for Warrior players than having access to some of the future DLC skills in the early game. We can combine these new runes in-game to create a new Warrior Build, with a total of 24 runes available so far. This opens up endless possibilities and promises an exhilarating experience.

This article will provide detailed information on the 7 runes for Warrior and where or how to obtain them. We will keep updating this page with more details about the Warrior Runes and their locations as they become available.

Rune Effect: Increases all physical damage you deal by 10% while you have a shield equipped, and reduces the duration of all Disarm effects used against you by 50%. This does not stack with other Disarm duration reducing effects.

Rune Location: This rune requires a Friendly reputation with the Emerald Circle and costs 1 gold and 60 silver to purchase.

Rune Effect: Go on a rampage, increasing your attack power by 10% for 30 sec. This ability can only be used while Enraged.

Rune Location: Gordunni Caves, Feralas. The path to the cave entrance is located at 75.0, 35.2. Inside, you will find [Ohk'zi], a level 43 elite ogre at 74.8, 24.9. Kill the elite ogre and loot the rune.

Rune Effect: When your Devastate and Revenge abilities deal damage they have a 30% chance of refreshing the cooldown of your Shield Slam ability and reducing its Rage cost by 100% for 5 sec.

Rune Location: Accept the quest from

[Shadowfang Messenger]

at the Emerald Sanctuary in Felwood. This initial quest cannot be shared; each player must accept it individually.

Travel to the Hinterlands: Kill elite trolls in Jintha'Alor to obtain the

[Whispering Elixir of the Wilds].

Go to Razorfen Downs: Clear the area around Amnennar the Coldbringer. Drink the Whispering Elixir of the Wilds to summon

[Agamaggan's Spirit]

. Speak with him to receive a quest and

[Agamaggan's Howl]

. Only one player needs to drink the elixir to summon him.

Summon Ghostly Monsters: You need to kill two monsters in three different dungeons to summon a ghostly creature. When you trigger it, you will receive a chat message: "You sense a shadowy presence." Use Agamaggan's Howl near the ghostly creature to make a level 52 elite Ancient of War hostile. Each Ancient of War drops one

[Offering of the Wilds]

Zul'Farrak:

Clear Gahz'rilla's area and summon a ghostly spider to summon the [Enraged Ancient of War].

Maraudon:

Clear Princess Theradras' area and summon a ghostly raptor in the water to summon the [Enraged Ancient of War].

Blackrock Depths:

Defeat all three bosses (including the Ring of Law), and summon a ghostly basilisk in the Dark Iron Highway (leading to Bael'Gar) to summon the [Enraged Ancient of War].

Collect the Offerings: Once you have all three Offerings of the Wilds, return to the

[Shadowfang Messenger]

to receive your rune.

Rune Effect: Whenever your Rend ability causes damage, your Overpower ability will activate for 9 sec or 1 attack. This effect will not occur more than once every 6 sec.

Rune Location: Find the 4 fragments of the Annihilator in the Slag Pit of Searing Gorge: in the slag pit (43, 32.3), in the fire dragon cave below the slag pit (49.4, 37.1), at the back of the cave (42.6, 30), and the last one (42, 44). Bring the four fragments to the stone in the eastern part of Searing Gorge (65, 45). This will summon Rodax the Annihilator, a massive war golem. He is formidable, so bring friends along.

Rune Effect: Focus your protective gaze on a party or raid member, reducing their damage taken by 3% and transferring 10% of the threat they cause to you. In addition, each time they are hit by an attack your Taunt cooldown is refreshed. Lasts 30 min. This effect can only be on one target at a time.

Rune Location: Head to the Writhing Deep in Feralas. Look for the elite creature [Hive'Zora Ravasaur] around coordinates 77.6, 62.0. Defeat it to obtain the rune.

Rune Effect: Your melee critical hits Enrage you (activating abilities which require being Enraged), and increase Mortal Strike, Bloodthirst, and Shield Slam damage by 10% for 12 sec.

Rune Location: In Hinterlands, kill trolls and spiders until the Crystal Hammer drops. Once you have the Crystal Hammer, equip it and continue attacking enemies until the Crystal Hammer breaks, obtaining a Broken Crystal Hammer. Right-click the Broken Crystal Hammer to open it and obtain the rune.

Rune Effect: An aggressive stance that increases damage while you are wearing a shield by 10% and increases block chance by 10%, but reduces armor by 30% and threat generated by 30%. In addition, you gain 50% increased Rage when your auto-attack damages an enemy not targeting you.

While wearing a shield in Gladiator Stance, you may use all abilities that are restricted to other stances.

Rune Location: In Gadgetzan, talk to

[Fizbuz Mithril]

in the middle cage to get the quest. Fly to Azshara and speak with [Kagynd] in the desolate mountain and cave to complete the quest, then accept the next quest. Defeat a patrolling blue dragon near (65, 52), then return to

[Kagynd]

to get the next quest. Return to Gadgetzan and talk to

[Fizbuz Mithril]

to complete the quest, then accept the next quest. Defeat three waves of enemies to obtain the rune. Do not join any group during any stage of the Gladiator Stance Rune quest; it will interrupt the quest.
