The "Domesticated Attack Chicken" offers a non-engineering alternative to the "Gnomish Battle Chicken," although it is currently unclear whether they share cooldowns.

"Wirdal's Hardened Core" is an exceptionally potent tanking trinket. It provides tanks with an early-game boost of 1000 armor at the cost of a 60% movement speed reduction for 10 seconds.
