Rune Engraving is a new system in Wow Season of Discovery that allows players to use skills added in future DLCs. It brings a lot of excitement and changes to the gameplay of WoW Classic 60s.

Nothing is more remarkable for Hunter players than having access to some of the future DLC skills in the early game. WoW SoD Phase 4 Hunter Runes - Engrave Cloak - Improved Volley

Rune Effect: Reduces the mana cost of your Volley by 50%, reduces its cooldown by 100%, and it no longer suffers pushback from damaging attacks. Volley also deals 3% of your ranged Attack Power as additional damage each time it deals damage.

Rune Location: Head to Silithus and defeat mobs to obtain the Busted Gizmo item. Take the Busted Gizmo to Edwi Copperbolt, a gnome located at Bronzebeard's Encampment in the southeast area of Silithus. Explore the area near coordinates (36,71) in Silithus until the ground starts moving. Then, use the Desert Sonar to summon a Sandworm. Defeat the Sandworm to obtain the Rune of Shelling.

WoW SoD Phase 4 Hunter Runes - Engrave Cloak - Resourcefulness

Rune Effect: Reduces the mana cost of your Traps by 100% and their cooldowns by 40%.

Rune Location: Go to northwest Eastern Plaguelands near Terrordale and kill Plagued Swine until you get Tainted Boar Meat. Head to Corrin's Crossing and kill slimes until you get Bubbling Green Ichor. Combine the Tainted Boar Meat and Bubbling Green Ichor to create a Rancid Hunk of Flesh. Feed the Rancid Hunk of Flesh to a Carrion Grub, which will regurgitate a skeleton. Loot the skeleton to get the Rune.

WoW SoD Phase 4 Hunter Runes - Engrave Cloak - Hit and Run

Rune Effect: You gain 15% movement speed for 8 sec after using Raptor Strike.

Rune Location: To learn the "Hit and Run" skill, you need to find the Rune of the Guerrilla. This can be obtained as a drop from the Escaped Core Hound in Burning Steppes, located just northeast of the Alliance flight point. You can find Calefactus the Unleashed in the Blasted Lands, a two-headed green Core Hound. Tip: The trinket "Infernal Lasso" is helpful.

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Arcane spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: Find the red book in Silithus at (20, 85), in a tent closest to Ahn'Qiraj. Please read it to learn this rune.

WoW SoD Phase 4 Hunter Runes - Engrave Ring - Arcane Specialization

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Arcane spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: There is a red book located in the Hearthglen tower around (46, 13), near a Scarlet Priest. Retrieve the book to acquire the Rune.

Rune Effect: Skill with Axes and Two-Handed Axes increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Read the red book The Rites of Mak'Gora in Burning Steppes in Blackrock Stronghold at （39.9 34.1）. Learn Rune of Axe Specialization from this book.

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Fire spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: Overseer Maltorius is located in Searing Gorge, southeast of Thorium Point. Next to his plans, at coordinates (40.58, 35.44), is a book that teaches Fire Specialization.

Rune Effect: Skill with Fist Weapons (Unarmed) increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: The book can be found in Silithus around coordinates (37,45). It is shrouded in Twilight, which might make it a bit hard to spot.

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Frost spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: A small red book titled "Elements for Dummies Volume I: Frost" can be found in the Owlbeast camp in Winterspring, near (59, 59). Click to loot the rune.

Rune Effect: Skill with Bows, Guns, Crossbows, and Thrown weapons increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Ranged Weapon Specialization can be obtained at Marris Stead in Eastern Plaguelands, located at coordinates (26, 74).

WoW SoD Phase 4 Hunter Runes - Engrave Ring - Pole Weapon Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Staves and Polearms increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: In Azshara, inside the Temple of Arkkoran, around coordinates (78, 38), there is a book located on the Moonwell. Opening the book will grant you the Rune of Pole Weapon Specialization.

WoW SoD Phase 4 Hunter Runes - Engrave Ring - Sword Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Swords and Two-Handed Swords increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: The book for this Rune is located beneath Karazhan in the Master's Cellar, hidden behind two pillars. Make sure to travel into the cave segment to ensure you're in the correct location.
