WoW SoD: Phase 4 Druid Rune&Locations

Rune Engraving is a new system in Wow Season of Discovery that allows players to use skills added in future DLCs. It brings a lot of excitement and changes to the gameplay of WoW Classic Vanilla.

Nothing is more remarkable for Druid players than having access to some of the future DLC skills in the early game. We can combine these new runes in-game to create a new Druid Build, with a total of 34 runes available so far. This opens up endless possibilities and promises an exhilarating experience.

This article will provide detailed information on the 10 runes for phase 4 Druid and where or how to obtain them. We will keep updating this page with more details about the Druid Runes and their locations as they become available.

Rune Effect:Gain the Improved Swipe ability: While in Cat Form, your Swipe ability becomes Swipe (Cat), and while in Bear Form, your Swipe ability strikes up to 7 additional enemies.

Swipe (Cat) Swipe nearby enemies, inflicting 250% weapon damage and generating 1 combo point on your current target.

Rune Location: Find the Idol of the Huntress. It is dropped from a Venomhide Ravasaur in Un'goro Crater. You need to kill 5 sleeping targets while in Cat Form, then use this idol to learn a new ability.

Rune Effect: Shapeshift into the Tree of Life. While in this form you increase healing received by 10% for all party members within 45 yards, Wild Growth healing is increased by 60%, your heal over time spells cost 20% less, you gain 25% increased Spirit, you gain 200% increased armor, and you cannot cast harmful spells.

The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects.

Rune Location: Heading to Northern Felwood, you should talk to the Vengeful Wisp at coordinates (46, 19). The wisp will start following you. When you are in the middle of the area, you should try to get a Shimmering Light buff, which might require you to kill some satyrs. After that, talk to the wisp again, and it will drop the Gift of the Wisp on the ground. Finally, you can loot your rune from the Gift of the Wisp.

Rune Effect:Gain the Starfall ability: You summon a flurry of stars from the sky over 10 sec, striking targets within 30 yards of your location, each dealing 68.612 to 80.544 Arcane damage to its target and 11.932 Arcane damage to all other enemies within 5 yards. Maximum 20 stars.

Shapeshifting or mounting cancels the effect. Any effect which causes you to lose control of your character will suppress the Starfall effect. Benefits from and triggers most talents and effects that trigger or benefit from Moonfire.

Rune Location: Kill Arcterris, an elite Owlbear in Winterspring located north of Everlook at coordinates (63, 18). get the rune from the creature after defeating it.

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Arcane spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: There is a red book located in the Hearthglen tower around (46, 13), near a Scarlet Priest. Retrieve the book to acquire the Rune.

Rune Effect: Skill with Daggers increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Find the red book in Silithus at (20, 85), in a tent closest to Ahn'Qiraj. Please read it to learn this rune.

Rune Effect: Skill with Fist Weapons (Unarmed) increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: The book can be found in Silithus around coordinates (37,45). It is shrouded in Twilight, which might make it a bit hard to spot.

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Nature spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: You can find a book called "The Fury of Stormrage" in Felwood at Felpaw Village (coordinates 62.7, 7.49). This book teaches Nature Specialization.

Rune Effect: Skill with Staves and Polearms increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: In Azshara, inside the Temple of Arkkoran, around coordinates (78, 38), there is a book located on the Moonwell. Opening the book will grant you the Rune of Pole Weapon Specialization.

Rune Effect: Skill with Maces and Two-Handed Maces increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Head to the top of Grim Batol in the Wetlands, around (73, 76). There will be a clickable object next to the door; interacting with it will earn this Rune.

Rune Effect: Skill with Swords and Two-Handed Swords increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: In Winterspring, head to Frostsaber Rock at coordinates (49,8). You'll come across a small cat den guarded by two level 55-56 Frostsabers. Inside the den, you will find a red book titled "Finding Your Inner Feline: A Guide to Modern Druidism." Loot the book to learn the Rune.

Druid have always been one of the strongest classes in World of Warcraft. They can perform three different roles by using their shapeshifting abilities: tank, healer, and DPS provider.
