Blizzards said they have received a positive response for adding professions in Season of Discovery Phase 1. Hence, they are significantly expanding it in Phase 2, with approximately twenty new recipes for all non-gather professions. These recipes will cover Alchemy, Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking, Tailoring, and Blacksmithing. Additionally, professions will have a cap of 225 in Phase 2, and profession specializations will be available later in Season of Discovery Phase 3.

Players can find new materials throughout the game and trade with others to craft their wares. Leather armor wearers will receive a detox helmet, granting immunity to nature damage for 3 seconds with a 10-minute cooldown. Cloth wearers can obtain a conserve mana helmet, reducing mana consumption by 50% with the same 10-minute cooldown. Plate armor wearers will receive an anti-interruption helmet, granting 10 seconds of uninterrupted spellcasting for paladins, including immunity to silence, interrupts, and delayed casting.Some of the recipes include:
Please note that these three pieces of equipment are just demonstrations. Other classes will also receive their own exclusive gear, with the methods of obtaining them gradually unlocked for players to discover.
Alchemists and Enchanters now have access to new recipes that can help improve their gameplay experience by increasing their utility and throughput.
These new recipes are designed to offer more benefits beyond just creating items that they can sell for gold. Here are a few examples:
Enchanters will receive the exclusive "Innovative Sigil," which can provide the enchanter with either 20 spell power or 20 attack power for half an hour.
Alchemy Masters will obtain the exclusive restorative potion "Mildly-Irradiated Rejuvenation Potion," which not only restores around 400 health and mana to the player but also provides a brief burst of output with 40 attack power/35 spell power!
