WoW SoD: Phase 3 Priest Rune&Locations

Rune Engraving is a new system in Wow Season of Discovery that allows players to use skills added in future DLCs. It brings a lot of excitement and changes to the gameplay of WoW Classic 60s.
Nothing is more remarkable for Priest players than having access to some of the future DLC skills in the early game. We can combine these new runes in-game to create a new Priest Build, with a total of 24 runes available so far.This opens up endless possibilities and promises an exhilarating experience.

This article will provide detailed information on the 6 runes for Priest and where or how to obtain them. We will keep updating this page with more details about the Priest Runes and their locations as they become available.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Priest Runes - Engrave Bracer - Despair


Rune Effect: Periodic damage from your spells can now be critical strikes.
Rune Location: In various parts of the world, you need to gather energy from four fel crystals. Each crystal requires a specific material to gather the energy (a total of four materials).

Feralas:

Coordinates 57, 60.

The Hinterlands:

Coordinates 48, 59.

Azshara:

Coordinates 22, 79.

Searing Gorge:

Coordinates 55, 65.
Completing these tasks will summon an elemental creature, a level 47 arcane elemental that is immune to arcane damage. This is a challenging fight even for level 50 players; if possible, it is best to form a small party.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Priest Runes - Engrave Bracer - Surge of Light


Rune Effect: Critical spellcasts cause your next Smite or Flash Heal cast within 15 sec to be instant cast.
Rune Location: Find the [Echo of Lost Souls] at one of the following locations:
Gadgetzan Cemetery in Tanaris, coordinates 53.8, 28.8.
The cemetery in Swamp of Sorrows, coordinates 50.4, 61.1.
The Ruins of Aboraz in Stranglethorn Vale, coordinates 40.8, 58.4.
This creature has a buff, Protected by Shadows, which makes it immune to fire, frost, holy, nature, physical, and shadow damage. To kill it, you need to use arcane damage. However, according to player reports, repeatedly casting [Holy Fire] can remove the buff and allow you to kill it. After defeating the creature, loot the [Prophecy of the Lost Tribe] to obtain the rune. (Requires two blessing buffs)

WoW SoD Phase 3 Priest Runes - Engrave Bracer - Void Zone


Rune Effect: Summons a void zone in the target area that deals 95.977 Shadow damage to enemies that stand within it every second for 10 sec.
Rune Location: This rune can be purchased for 1 gold and 60 silver, but it requires Friendly reputation with the Emerald Warders.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Priest Runes - Engrave Helm - Divine Aegis


Rune Effect: Critical heals create a protective shield on the target, absorbing 30% of the amount healed. Lasts 12 sec.
Rune Location: Start the quest from [Shadowfang Emissary] in the Emerald Sanctuary of Felwood. This initial quest cannot be shared; each player must accept it individually.

Travel to the Hinterlands:

In Jintha'Alor, kill elite trolls to obtain the [Wild Whispering Elixir].

Travel to Razorfen Downs:

Clear the area around Amnennar the Coldbringer.
Drink the Wild Whispering Elixir to summon the [Spirit of Agamaggan].
Talk to him to receive a quest and the [Agamaggan's Howl]. Only one player needs to drink the elixir to summon him.
Dungeon Objectives: You need to kill two creatures in three different dungeons to summon a ghostly creature. When you trigger it, you will see the message: "You feel the presence of a shadow."
Use Agamaggan's Howl near the ghostly creature to turn a level 52 elite Ancient into a hostile mob. Each Ancient drops 1 [Wild Offering]:

Zul'Farrak:

Clear the area around Gahz'rilla and summon a ghostly spider to call forth the [Enraged Ancient].

Maraudon:

Clear the area around Princess Theradras and summon a ghostly raptor in the water to call forth the [Enraged Ancient].

Blackrock Depths:

Defeat all three bosses (including the Ring of Law) and summon a ghostly lizard on the Dark Iron Highway (on the way to Bael'gar) to call forth the [Enraged Ancient].
Return to Shadowfang Emissary: Once you have collected all three Wild Offerings, return to Shadowfang Emissary to receive your rune.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Priest Runes - Engrave Helm -  Eye of the Void


Rune Effect: Call an eye of the void to fight for you for 30 sec. The eye can cast a variety of curses on your target.
Rune Location: This requires finding 7 eyes:

Felwood:

Blinding Eye (36.5, 55.7) Inside Jaedenar (entrance at 35.3, 58.7), near Captured Arko'narin. The monsters around the eye are level 54-55, so bring friends.

Tanaris:

Bleeding Eye (56.4, 73.7) In the middle of the room within the Silithid Hive in the big rift.

Feralas:

Scorching Eye (57.2, 68.7) In the northwest tower of the Ruins of Isildien, behind a night elf NPC.

Stranglethorn Vale:

Malicious Eye (33, 88) On the table behind Captain Stillwater.

Blasted Lands:

Pulsating Eye (49, 14) Reachable by riding and using Levitate.

The Hinterlands:

Glowing Eye (58.4, 72.7)

Searing Gorge:

Vibrating Eye (43.8, 45.8) In the Slag Pit, priests need to solve a small jumping puzzle to reach the cave with the eye. The easiest way to complete this puzzle is to go to (45.3, 50.2), back up to the edge of the cliff, then walk backward off the cliff. You will safely land at the cave entrance and quickly reach the destination.
After collecting all 7 eyes, head to (89, 33) in Azshara. You can find the [Temple of the Watchers] embedded in the ruins. When you have all the eyes and type /kneel in front of it, the [Temple of the Watchers] will offer a quest to turn in your eyes and receive the rune.
Note: The final step might be buggy. If the quest does not appear after typing /kneel, type /reload and the quest should appear.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Priest Runes - Engrave Helm - Pain and Suffering


Rune Effect:

Mind Blast, Mind Spike, and Mind Flay refresh the duration of your one of your Shadow Word: Pain, Void Plague, or Vampiric Touch abilities on the target back to its maximum duration. The ability with the shortest remaining duration will always be the one refreshed.

Rune Location:

Tanaris:
Kill Wasteland Dark Sorcerers to obtain the "Encrypted Warlock Note."
Kill Wasteland Thieves to obtain the "Wasteland Decoding Key."
Combine these two items to get the "Decoded Warlock Note."
Head to coordinates 58.0, 36.0 and look for a mysterious summoning scroll on the ground.
When you hover over it, you'll see the name, but it will be non-interactive.
Stand on the scroll and use the "Decoded Warlock Note" to summon an [Angry Voidwalker].
Kill the Angry Voidwalker to obtain the "Rune of Wisdom."
This task can be completed solo, and the rune can be collected by all party members.
