WoW SoD: Phase 4 Warlock Rune&Locations

Rune Engraving is a new system in Wow Season of Discovery that allows players to use skills added in future DLCs. It brings a lot of excitement and changes to the gameplay of WoW Classic 60s.

Nothing is more remarkable for Warlock players than having access to some of the future DLC skills in the early game. We can combine these new runes in-game to create a new Warlock Build, with a total of 32 runes available so far. This opens up endless possibilities and promises an exhilarating experience.

Rune Effect: Your Soul Fire spell no longer has a cooldown. Additionally, when you Shadow Bolt, Shadow Cleave, Incinerate, or Soul Fire a target that is at or below 35% health, the cast time of your Soul Fire spell is reduced by 40% for 10 sec. Soul Fires cast under the effect of Decimation cost no shard.

Rune Location: Send your Explorer Imp into Fel Portals until you obtain a Legion Portal Tuner. This item is most commonly found from Fel Rift in Burning Steppes or Eastern Plaguelands. Next, use the Legion Portal Tuner on Fel Scar in Blasted Lands, Feralas, or Azshara. The portal will take on a unique appearance. After this, send the imp inside to obtain the Portal Tuner Tuner. Use the Portal Tuner Tuner to enhance the tuner. Finally, use the Overcharged Portal Tuner, and the imp will return with the Rune of Decimation.

Rune Effect: Your Curse of Agony and Curse of Doom now apply the Mark of Chaos, reducing the target's magical resistances by 75 and increasing all spell damage taken by 11% while they remain cursed.

Rune Location: Head to the area around either (38, 54) or (50, 80) in Western Plaguelands and search for a Skeletal Flayer. Use Drain Soul on the Skeletal Flayer to obtain Plagued Soul Shards.

Afterward, head to either Chillwind Camp for Alliance players or The Bulwark for Horde players. Turn in the Plagued Soul Shards to an NPC who is looking for them to obtain the following Rune:

- Pixi Pilfershard at Chillwind Camp located at 43.4, 84.1

- Prazik Pilfershard at The Bulwark located at 83.1, 72.7

Rune Effect: Your spirit becomes infused with demonic energy, reducing all Magic damage you take by a percentage equal to your Physical damage reduction from armor. Lasts 10 sec.

Rune Location: Head to the Blasted Lands around (66,31).

Kill Shadowsworn mobs such as Shadowsworn Cultist or Shadowsworn Adept to obtain a Shadowsworn Note.

Enter the cave and make your way to the altar at the far end.

You'll need a Greater Spellstone, Shadow Ward, and then to cast Sacrifice on a Voidwalker summon. Once prepared, click the altar.

It is recommended to have someone who is a healer with you.

After surviving the altar sacrifice, a level 56 Elite will be summoned. Defeat this Elite to earn the Rune.

Rune Effect: Skill with Daggers increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Find the red book in Silithus at (20, 85), in a tent closest to Ahn'Qiraj. Please read it to learn this rune.

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Fire spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: Overseer Maltorius is located in Searing Gorge, southeast of Thorium Point. Next to his plans, at coordinates (40.58, 35.44), is a book that teaches Fire Specialization.

Rune Effect: Skill with Staves and Polearms increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: In Azshara, inside the Temple of Arkkoran, around coordinates (78, 38), there is a book located on the Moonwell. Opening the book will grant you the Rune of Pole Weapon Specialization.

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Shadow spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: Head to the Tainted Scar in the Blasted Lands. Proceed to the altar at coordinates (33.0, 48.0) and collect your Rune.

Rune Effect: Skill with Swords and Two-Handed Swords increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: The book for this Rune is located beneath Karazhan in the Master's Cellar, hidden behind two pillars. Make sure to travel into the cave segment to ensure you're in the correct location.
