WoW SoD: Phase 4 Rogue Runes&Locations

Rune Engraving is a new system in Wow Season of Discovery that allows players to use skills added in future DLCs. It brings a lot of excitement and changes to the gameplay of WoW Classic 60s.

Nothing is more remarkable for Rogue players than having access to some of the future DLC skills in the early game. We can combine these new runes in-game to create a new Rogue Build, with a total of 33 runes available so far. This opens up endless possibilities and promises an exhilarating experience.

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Cloak -  Blunderbuss

Rune Effect: Gain the Blunderbuss ability: Fire a musket blast at up to 4 enemies in a cone in front of you for [(5.741530 - 0.255683 * 60 + 0.032656 * 60 * 60) * 192 / 100 + 48 / 100 * Attack power] to [(5.741530 - 0.255683 * 60 + 0.032656 * 60 * 60) * 288 / 100 + 48 / 100 * Attack power] Physical damage.

Rune Location: Head to Tyr's Hand: In the Eastern Plaguelands, go to Tyr's Hand.

Look for Scarlet Lockboxes scattered around the area.Use Pick Lock to open these lockboxes until you find a Sending Sigil.

Find the Sending Pillars: There are four Sending Pillars located in the Eastern Plaguelands, each in one of the four cardinal directions: North, South, East, and West. Travel to each pillar in order and interact with them.

Teleportation Mechanics: Interacting with a pillar will teleport you around the entire zone. Be prepared for a lot of running as you make your way to each pillar.

Final Step: After interacting with the fourth pillar, you will be teleported into a house with a chest inside. Loot the chest to earn this Rune.

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Cloak - Crimson Tempest

Rune Effect: Finishing move that slashes all enemies within 8 yards, causing victims to Bleed over time. Lasts longer and deals more damage per combo point.

1 point : (Attack power * 0.30) damage over 4 sec.

2 points: (Attack power * 0.45) damage over 6 sec.

3 points: (Attack power * 0.60) damage over 8 sec.

4 points: (Attack power * 0.75) damage over 10 sec.

5 points: (Attack power * 0.90) damage over 12 sec.

Crimson Tempest benefits from all talents and effects that trigger from or modify Rupture.

Rune Location: In Hearthglen, located in Western Plaguelands, you need to obtain a Toolbox Key from the workers in Hearthglen. You can acquire this key by either defeating the workers or by using Pick Pocket. Once you have the key, open the toolbox near the smithy hut (next to the campfire) and take the Crowbar from inside. Next, use the Crowbar to unlock the chest at the top of the southern tower near Lord Tirion Fordring (located around 55, 24). Then, proceed to the northern tower and open the chest on the middle level (around 47, 14) to acquire the Rune of the Crimson Tempest.

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Cloak - Fan of Knives

Rune Effect: The Rogue instantly throws both weapons at all targets dealing area effect damage.

Rune Location: Head to Winterfall Village in Winterspring.

You'll find a chest at 67.7 35.4 coordinates.

Open the chest to obtain the secret code "frostsaber, owl, bear, owl".

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Ring - Dagger Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Daggers increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Find the red book in Silithus at (20, 85), in a tent closest to Ahn'Qiraj. Please read it to learn this rune.

Rune Effect: Defense skill increased by 25. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: The red book "Zirene's Guide to Getting Punched" is located at the actual entrance of LBRS, in the hallway behind the meeting stone. To find it, go up the ramp and turn into the first room on the right; you will see the book lying just to the right of the red and yellow flag on top of the rubble.

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Ring - Fist Weapon Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Fist Weapons (Unarmed) increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: The book can be found in Silithus around coordinates (37,45). It is shrouded in Twilight, which might make it a bit hard to spot.

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Ring - Mace Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Maces and Two-Handed Maces increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: Head to the top of Grim Batol in the Wetlands, around (73, 76). There will be a clickable object next to the door; interacting with it will earn this Rune.

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Ring - Nature Specialization

Rune Effect: Chance to hit with Nature spells increased by 6%. Not cumulative with other ring runes.

Rune Location: You can find a book called "The Fury of Stormrage" in Felwood at Felpaw Village (coordinates 62.7, 7.49). This book teaches Nature Specialization.

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Ring - Ranged Weapon Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Bows, Guns, Crossbows, and Thrown weapons increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location:Ranged Weapon Specialization can be obtained at Marris Stead in Eastern Plaguelands, located at coordinates (26, 74).

WoW SoD Phase 4 rogue runes - Engrave Ring - Sword Specialization

Rune Effect: Skill with Swords and Two-Handed Swords increased by 5. This effect is not cumulative with racial bonuses or other ring runes.

Rune Location: The book for this Rune is located beneath Karazhan in the Master's Cellar, hidden behind two pillars. Make sure to travel into the cave segment to ensure you're in the correct location.
