WoW SoD: Phase 3 Warlock Rune&Locations

Rune Engraving is a new system in Wow Season of Discovery that allows players to use skills added in future DLCs. It brings a lot of excitement and changes to the gameplay of WoW Classic 60s.

Nothing is more remarkable for Warlock players than having access to some of the future DLC skills in the early game. We can combine these new runes in-game to create a new Warlock Build, with a total of 24 runes available so far. This opens up endless possibilities and promises an exhilarating experience.

Rune Effect: Shadow energy slowly destroys the target, causing 1063.167 damage over 18 sec. In addition, if the Unstable Affliction is dispelled it will cause 1594.75 damage to the dispeller and silence them for 5 sec. Only one Unstable Affliction or Immolate per Warlock can be active on any one target.

Rune Location: This rune requires Friendly reputation with the Emerald Wardens and costs 1 gold 60 silver to purchase.

Rune Effect: Burns nearby enemies for 32.217 damage every 2 seconds, and reduces all magic damage taken by 10%. Lasts until cancelled.

Rune Location: Collect three types of reagents from different types of demons in Ashenvale. These demons are located near the Emerald Portal, where the green dragon world boss used to reside, around coordinates

Once you have collected all three reagents, combine them to form the rune.

Rune Effect: Summons a Felguard under the command of the Warlock. The Felguard benefits from all talents and effects that trigger from or benefit any of your other Demon minions.

Rune Location: Players need to search across Azeroth for a Fel Portal (such as [Fel Shard], [Fel Tear], or [Fel Rift]). Sending the "Explorer Imp" into the Fel Portal will reward you with the rune. Specific maps include the Barrens, Westfall, Darkshore, Silverpine Forest, Ashenvale, Redridge Mountains, Swamp of Sorrows, Desolace, Feralas, Azshara, and the Blasted Lands.

Rune Effect: Your Conflagrate ability also grants 30% spellcasting haste for 15 sec and no longer consumes Immolate.

Rune Location: Gather energy from four Fel Crystals scattered around the world. Each crystal requires a specific material to harness its energy (a total of four materials). The locations are as follows:

Completing these tasks will summon an elemental creature, a level 47 Arcane Elemental that is immune to arcane damage. This battle can be challenging even at level 50, so it is recommended to form a group if possible.

Rune Effect: Periodic damage from your Corruption, Unstable Affliction, Curse of Agony, Immolate, Curse of Doom, and Siphon Life abilities can now be critical strikes.

Rune Location: In Feralas, you need to find and kill two specific types of monsters near their respective camps:

Combine the Staff and Necklace to form a Wand. Use this Wand on the slumbering Treant located near the Timberling camp in Feralas. Once the Treant is awakened, you can loot the rune from it.

Rune Effect: Gain the Vengeance ability: When activated, this ability temporarily grants you a 30% increase to your maximum health for 20 sec. After the effect expires, the health is lost. Additionally, while in Metamorphosis, Vengeance causes your wings to slow your falling speed.

Rune Location: Accept the quest from [Shadowfang Messenger] in the Emerald Sanctuary of Felwood. This initial quest cannot be shared; each player needs to accept it individually.

Kill elite trolls in Jintha'Alor to obtain the [Whispering Elixir].

Clear the area around Amnennar the Coldbringer.

Drink the Whispering Elixir to summon [Spirit of Agamaggan].

Talk to the spirit to receive a quest and the item [Agamaggan's Howl]. Only one player needs to drink the elixir to summon the spirit.

Defeat Specific Monsters in Three Different Dungeons to Summon Ghostly Monsters:

When you trigger the presence of the ghostly monster, you'll receive a chat message:

"You sense the presence of a shadow."

Use Agamaggan's Howl near the ghostly monster to make a level 52 elite Ancient Guardian hostile. Each Ancient Guardian drops one [Wilderness Offering].

Zul'Farrak:

Clear Gahz'rilla and summon a ghostly spider to summon [Enraged Ancient].

Maraudon:

Clear the area around Princess Theradras and summon a ghostly raptor in the water to summon [Enraged Ancient].

Blackrock Depths:

Defeat all three bosses (including the Ring of Law) and summon a ghostly lizard on the Black Iron Highway (leading to Bael'Gar) to summon [Enraged Ancient].

Once you have collected all three Wilderness Offerings, return to [Shadowfang Messenger] to receive your rune.
