Speculations on WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2

WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2 has been scheduled for February 8th, which I believe everyone knows, having seen the related trailers. Here, I urge everyone to take another careful look on twitter @Warcraft.

Today, we're going to analyze a few interesting things from it:

-Mysterious Weapon

Let's start with the weapon. This sword can be identified as the Sword of Hammerfall's weapon model, which is identical in every way. The Sword of Hammerfall is a reward from a Horde quest, <The Real Threat>, from the Arathi Highlands. However, we can see that the character in the image is a human, so why is an Alliance character wielding a Horde weapon? The only explanation is that this is a modified weapon, with the model reused! Of course, the green color is consistent with the Stranglethorn Vale, where many items are predominantly green, matching the jungle style!

-Sky Changing Color

Another thing we can see from the short video is that the Alliance human character is standing in the Zanzil area where zombies are located. And we also see the sky suddenly turning blood-red! Official posts reveal information like "There will be blood" in Stranglethorn Vale. Combined with Hakkar's background, we can boldly speculate that "blood" might be the currency we collect from players and use to purchase items and other things from the neutral Hakkar NPC, or perhaps it's an activity where whichever side submits "blood" items first wins the event. This sword is also likely a product of this activity.

-Mounts

In Phase 1 PVP activities, mounts were added in Stranglethorn Vale to allow players who haven't learned riding to participate more efficiently. But in Phase 2, when players can learn riding, will Stranglethorn Vale activities add new mounts? There's a high probability, and it's very likely that for the Alliance, it's a Bengal tiger, and for the Horde, it's a red raptor; (actually, it would be better if they could be swapped to satisfy everyone, and switch things up a bit!)
