quick summary from
MMOJUGG:
-
Phase 4 starts on July 11th at 1:00 PM PDT. Don't miss out if you love the level 60 content!
- Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider, Golden Longtooth, and Spotted Scarlet Raptor can be upgraded to 100% movement speed for 800 gold.
- Ring and
cloak runes are introduced. Physical classes get Weapon Specialization +5, Feral Druids get Feral Specialization +5, reducing boss dodge chance, and casters get Hit Rating.
-
Priests can gain a second racial ability, like Fear Ward, Devouring Plague, and Starshards.
- Many
runes have been converted into skills.
- Decorative trinkets can now be placed in the keyring.
- The Alliance gains Stormwind's Strength, equivalent to the Warchief's Blessing.
- Azuregos, Lord Kazzak, and Onyxia are 20-man raids but can accommodate up to 40 players, though additional players do not increase loot drops.
- Molten Core has 11 bosses with three difficulty levels, with special drops on the hardest difficulty.
- A new 5-player dungeon is introduced, requiring players to solve puzzles to unlock it. (Data mining suggests it's called Demon's Fall, where players face the shadow of Hellscream.)
- Each dungeon boss will drop a new currency, Tarnished Undermine Real, which can be exchanged for high-level rewards.
- Players can obtain Tier 0 gear from max-level dungeons and upgrade it to Tier 0.5, with various attribute variations.
- The Blackrock Eruption event offers significant reputation rewards for the Thorium Brotherhood and the Hydraxian Waterlords. Killing monsters in the open world will yield Firelands Embers, which can be exchanged for items and upgrades with Lokhtos Darkbargainer in Blackrock Depths. PvP in Blackrock Mountain will grant substantial honor (3x).
- Argent Dawn and Timbermaw Hold offer more powerful reputation rewards, and the Hydraxian Waterlords will also offer stronger rewards.
