WoW SoD: Priest's Feign Death? Invincible?

by        Game: WOW Classic Season Of Discovery Guide

The changes in WoW SoD Phase 2 are astonishing! Priests in the Season of Discovery now have a feign death skill, and this feign death even comes with an invincible effect! It's truly a pleasant surprise in the game.

First, let's delve into the effects of the Spirit of the Redeemer rune in the P2. Once activated, you transform into the Spirit of Redemption, a state that lasts for 10 seconds. In this form, casting any healing spells won't consume resources, but you can't move, attack, attack, or become the target of any spells or effects. Simply put, it's like an actively triggered invincibility state, protecting you from all damage.

Some streamers have tested the effects of this rune. A level 44 Murloc ignored them and walked away. Later, they went to Ragefire Chasm and pulled a bunch of mobs before transforming in a safe spot. As a result, all the mobs turned around and left, making it a perfect disengage! For priests, this rune is indeed perfect.

However, there's one thing to note: only Holy Priests can use this rune. So, to experience the joy of invincibility in the game, why not try becoming a Holy Priest?

Of course, this may also be intentional on Blizzard's part. After all, Holy Priest players have always been few, and the developers may want more players to join the ranks of Holy Priests to improve class balance. Otherwise, what would happen if you couldn't find a healer for a raid?
