WoW SoD Phase 2 Class Preview: Warlocks

Warlocks will receive some exciting updates in Phase 2 of WoW Season of Discovery. Destruction Warlocks will be especially pleased to gain the most potent talent, "Destruction." Additionally, they will obtain Conflagrate, a powerful ability comparable to Shadow Bolt. The new Shadow Bolt will also be available for Warlocks in WoW SoD Phase 2 at level 36. 

Warlocks will also acquire the "Curse of Elements," which can significantly increase their damage, albeit only by 6% at each level. Destruction Warlocks will benefit from the most powerful talent in Classic, "Destruction," which increases the critical strike chance of Destruction spells by 100%. This is a significant advantage, as most other specializations would require more skill points to achieve similar increases in critical strike damage.

The Destruction specialization will also gain "Rain of Fire," which boosts fire damage by 10%. The latest rank of "Immolate" will also be available at level 40, making it very potent at this stage. However, the base damage for "Corruption," "Siphon Life," and the latest ranks of "Life Tap" will be too low when obtained at levels 34-36. 

Demonology Warlocks will gain the powerful talent "Soul Link," which splits damage by 30% and increases damage by 3%. This talent can turn Warlocks into a small army even before acquiring warlock runes "Demon Form."
