WoW SoD Gold Guide In Phase 4

by        Game: WOW Classic Season Of Discovery Guide

Phase 4 of the Season of Discovery is well underway, but having gold is still king. Whether aiming for an epic mount, the 0.5 gear, or expensive raid consumables, you need a robust gold-making strategy. Incursions may no longer be viable, but this guide will provide the ultimate tips for making gold in Phase 4. Follow MMOJUGG, lets go!

Four Major Ways to Make SoD Gold in Phase 4

1. Dungeon Farming

Dungeon farming is the best way to start your epic mount journey. Endgame dungeons like Scholomance offer major mana pots, dark runes, and tier 0.5 gear that can be sold at the Auction House. For example, Gauntlets of Elements can fetch over 200 gold, and Shadowcraft Gloves can sell for over 100 sod gold.

The new Demon Fall Canyon dungeon also offers significant profits with drops like the Eye of Shadow. Additionally, every endgame dungeon boss now drops a new currency called Tarnished Undermine Reals. Five of these can be turned in at Pix in Booty Bay for a Damaged Crate, which can contain valuable items like Black Lotus and Winter Squids, with an average crate value of about 15 -20 gold.

With a dedicated group, you can farm all dungeons in about 5-6 hours, netting over 250 gold per day—around 50 gold per hour.

2. Raid Profits

Raid bosses can drop extremely valuable items. World bosses like Lord Kazzak can drop items like the Eye of Shadow, and Sunken Temple runs with about 15 players can be very profitable. Inside Sunken Temple, Flask of Mojo drops, worth over 5 gold each, are crucial for Jungle Durians and best-in-slot shoulder enchants.

Farming Frostmaul Giants for Frostmaul Echoes after completing the Cache of Moari quest can yield a few hundred gold in one night.

3. Services

Services can also be incredibly profitable. Alchemy transmutes, such as Arcanite Bar transmutes, can yield significant profits. Transmute Masters, after completing the quest in Tanaris, can routinely profit 200 gold from one transmute. Other transmutes, like Undead to Water, offer around 27 gold profit with a one-day cooldown.

Combining professions can also be lucrative. Leatherworking's Salt Shaker and Mooncloth transmutes can provide additional gold. Selling portals, water, and summons, especially between Kargath and Orgrimmar, can net 4-5 gold each.

Rogues can earn money by unlocking boxes in Orgrimmar, while mining Dark Iron Bars offers a 3-4 gold profit per bar. Crafting items like Leather-Reinforced Runecloth Bags and Hide of the Wild or enchanting with the highly sought-after Crusader enchant can also be extremely profitable.

4. Auction House Flips

Auction House shuffles and flips are another great way to make gold. Flipping tier 0.5 dungeon gear with three buyable pieces per class can yield substantial profits. Using an Auctionator list to track prices can help you buy low and sell high. Cross-faction trading with friends can maximize profits for items like Paladin and Shaman gear.

Vendor and disenchant shuffles using TSM (TradeSkillMaster) addons can also be highly profitable. You can make up to 5 gold every hour by scanning and selling profitable items to vendors. Disenchanting undervalued items for higher-value materials like Large Brilliant Shards and Illusion Dust is another free-money strategy.

In WoW SoD Phase 4, there are numerous ways to make gold. Whether you choose dungeon farming, raid profits, services, or Auction House flips, these methods will help you succeed.
