. Today, MMOJUGG is here to share a guide for the bosses in this new dungeon.1. Grimroot
Classification: Elite Type: Elemental
Grimroot is the first boss you will encounter. Turn left at the first split in the path, clearing any trash along the way to reach this meandering "Mourning Guardian." Before starting the fight, clear out the trash in Grimroot's patrol area to make things easier.
The fight is fairly straightforward. During the encounter, keep in mind:
Grimroot will drop green pools of Corrupted Tears. These pools do not increase your DPS, so avoid standing in them!
Interrupt/Kick Gloom every time it is cast; this spell deals significant AoE damage to the group. Support your healers!
Grimroot will go into a small rage called Tender's Rage. As the tank, kite the boss around, keeping you and your group out of the Corrupted Tears on the ground. This should be manageable, as Grimroot moves quite slowly.
2. The Destructor's Wraith
Classification: Elite Type: Demon
Destructor's Devastation: This attack happens three times in a row and deals damage in a line directly in front of and behind the boss. The attack is highly telegraphed; you will see trails of fire in front of and behind the boss. Avoid these lines when the attack goes off. Like the Crowd Pummeler 9-60 fight in Gnomeregan, stay close to his hips and you'll be fine!
Right after the third cast of Destructor's Devastation, the boss will immediately follow it up with Nether Nova. This attack deals more damage the closer you are to the boss. When he starts to cast, run away until the cast finishes, then go back in to continue dealing damage. This attack does a considerable amount of damage, so healers should be ready to top off party members.
3. Zilbagob
Classification: Elite Type: Mechanical
Head back to the main path you first entered the dungeon on to encounter Zilbagob, an imp piloting a Goblin Shredder. Watch out for:
Kerosene Kick: A large flaming AoE that deals significant damage and knocks you to the ground, interrupting spell casting.
Chaos Chopper: A similar attack to the above but with smaller AoE damage that knocks you back instead of down.
Zilbagob will also spawn flaming spinning blades that leave fire on the ground. Avoid the fire and watch out for the pathing of these blades, which are relatively easy to dodge.
4. Pyranis
Classification: Elite Type: Humanoid
Continue through the dungeon, passing the Memorial for Grommash. Follow the path up to Demon Fall Barrow, clearing trash as you go. At the bottom of the Barrow, you'll encounter the druid Pyranis. This is an add-heavy fight, so clear adds quickly. Look out for:
Summon Dread Fungus: Explodes and knocks you back if you get too close. Watch for these on the ground!
Summon Dread Lasher: These adds heal each other and deal group-wide damage. Take them out swiftly.
Enshrouding Fog: Pyranis goes invisible, spawning more Dread Lashers. Defeat them to remove the fog and resume attacking the boss.
5. Diathorus the Seeker
Classification: Elite Type: Demon
Phase 1:
Shadow Bolt: Kick these!
Carrion Swarm: Avoid standing in this; it does not increase your DPS.
Veil of Shadow: A large heal reduction to the group. Prioritize kicking this ability!
Phase 2:
Mannoroth's Fury: Places fire on the ground. Don't stand in it!
Berserker Charge: Charges at players, dealing damage and stunning the target. Shamans can use Grounding Totem to negate this charge.
Diathorus hits harder in Phase 2, so save defensive cooldowns for the second half and be ready to react quickly.
6. Hellscream's Phantom
Classification: Elite Type: Humanoid
After defeating the Dreadlord, a portal will appear in the room. Use it to return to the Monument of Grommash for the encounter with Hellscream's Phantom. Key mechanics include:
Spiritstorm: Summons shades of Hellscream that spin around the arena. Avoid them!
Fear: Drops threat. Tanks, be ready to use taunt abilities!
