Tactical Mark 2 is the undisputed PvP king on a budget. Looting Mark 3 Survivor is the single best all-rounder in the game right now—medium shield + god-tier passive + comical carrying capacity.
If you're under 5 million credits → spam Tactical Mark 2 (buy daily for 6k or craft for almost nothing).
If you're looting focused and semi-broke → Looting Mark 2 is unbeatable value.
Once you're swimming in processors → Looting Mark 3 Survivor becomes your default for almost every scenario.
Heavy shield enjoyers → Tactical Mark 3 Defensive is your best friend, especially on Stella Montis.
The augment meta feels very healthy overall—nothing is truly trash, but the gap between light-only and medium+ options is massive, and the two S-tier picks are so strong because they combine great stats with genuinely game-changing passives.
Looting Mark 3 Survivor edges out slightly because of the 75% downed regen passive combined with medium shields and 80 weight.
Absolutely—many high-level trios still run it purely for the smoke-on-break clutch potential and low cost.
Not really. The health-regen ones need a serious buff (shorter pause or faster tick) to compete with smoke or survivor.
Extremely. Three safe pockets let you bring in a raider key + two high-value items (or spare keys) and never lose them.
Only if they buff the movement penalty or add more indoor maps. Right now medium + skill tree is almost always better.
