How is the radial burst triggered, and what determines its chance?

The burst has a 20% chance per Wildshard to fire 8 additional Projectiles in a circle. This means the chance scales linearly:

• 1 Wildshard = 20%

• 2 Wildshards = 40%

• 5 Wildshards = 100% Once triggered, all Wildshards are consumed, resetting the stack to zero.

Does the radial burst replace the original spell cast?

No. The burst is additive—your original spell still casts normally. The radial burst is a secondary effect, firing 8 projectiles outward from the caster in addition to the spell's usual behavior.

Can Wildshards be gained from triggered spells or traps/mines?

No. Only manually cast projectile spells generate Wildshards. Triggered spells (e.g. via Cast on Crit, traps, mines, or totems) do not build Wildshards.

What happens if I cast a supported spell while the burst is on cooldown?

There is no cooldown on the burst itself. However, once the burst triggers and consumes all Wildshards, you must rebuild the stack from zero. The burst can trigger again as soon as enough Wildshards are accumulated.
