Bear Talismans drop from monsters haunted by the Great Bear, a Sacred Azmerian Spirit introduced in Patch 0.2.0: Dawn of the Hunt. These encounters appear during Campaign and Endgame content. You can also obtain Bear Talismans via the Currency Exchange NPC.

Can Bear Talisman be removed after socketing?

No. Once socketed into a weapon or armour, Bear Talismans become permanently bound. You can overwrite them with another socketable item, but the original talisman will be destroyed.

Does Bear Talisman affect all allies or only those nearby?

The Presence-based effects apply only to allies within your Presence radius. Boosting AoE via helmets increases your own skill coverage, while the sceptre effect grants flat physical damage to allies inside that radius.
