Paladins in WoW Classic have always had the unique ability to balance the qualities of a "Battle Priest" and a "Medieval Knight." In Season of Discovery Phase 4, a new set of Relics is being introduced to allow players to further embrace the Knight fantasy by introducing them to their squire, Sir Dalton.

To start training your squire, you must complete a quest line for the Righteous Vengeance Rune. Once you've done that, visit Squire Cuthbert in the Western Plaguelands to receive Dalton's Horn, which marks the first of three stages in becoming a squire.

Take good care of your squire, let him join battles against the occasional skeleton, and watch him level up alongside you. Getting Sir Dalton to level 60 is necessary for the Shock and Awe Rune, but you can still keep him with you even after obtaining the Rune!
