Hey there, fel casters! Are you ready to set Naxxramas ablaze as a Destruction Warlock in World of Warcraft's Phase 7: Season of Discovery? This guide has everything you need to unleash fiery mayhem and climb the DPS charts. We're talking talents, runes, rotations, gear, and a few pro tips to make your enemies crispy. Let's dive in and make your Warlock a raid legend!

Consumables: Power up your pyre

Consumables are your ticket to big damage in classic WoW. Here's what you need:

Required Consumables:

Elixir of Greater Firepower - Boosts the power of your fire spells.
Vial of Supreme Power - Spell power for days.
Great Mana Potion - Keeps your spells coming.
Brilliant Wizard Oil - Extra spell power and crit.

Optional min-max consumables:

Demonic Rune - Mana on demand for clutch moments.
Darkclaw Bisque - A tasty MP5 boost.
Enchanted Repellent - A subtle survivability boost.
The must-haves are non-negotiable for any raid. If you hunt Parses or just like overkill, grab the extras - your gold stash may cry, but your DPS won't.

Enchanted: Ignite your equipment

Enchantments are a Destruction Warlock's best friend. Fully equipped, they'll give you a massive boost to your spell power. Key picks:
Enchant Weapon - Spell Blast (+81 spell power).
Enchant Cloak - Subtlety (reduces threat for those spicy crits).
Enchant Gloves - Firepower (+30 Fire damage).
Skipping enchantments is like leaving gold on the floor - don't do it. Stack these for a fiery edge.

Snapshotting: Timing is everything

Snapshotting is your secret weapon. Your DoTs lock in stats when cast, so timing is critical. Pop a crit trinket like Eye of Diminution before Unstable Affliction and it'll burn hotter for the duration. Miss the window and it's just average.
The Shadow and Flame rune's 10% post-crit damage buff is gold - cast your DoTs during it for maximum pain. Haunt is the outlier; its 40% Shadow boost is always on, so don't sweat the timing. Nail this mechanic and you'll be melting faces.

Runes: Forge Your Destruction

Runes define your play style. Here's the setup for Phase 7 Destruction:
Shadowflame - Core DoT and crit engine.
Demonic Tactics - Crits mean more DoT pulses.
Pandemic - Longer DoTs, more uptime.
Mark of Chaos - Instant curses for raid utility.
Shadow and Flame - Crit synergy boost.
Haunt - Shadow damage buff.
For single targets, this combo maximises crits and DoTs. Swap Haunt for Shadowbolt Volley in split fights (3+ targets). Tailor to your tier gear - more on this later.

Talents: Destruction Unleashed

Destruction in Phase 7 relies heavily on crits and Shadow Fire synergy. Here's a solid build (2/21/28):
Destruction: Max improved Shadowbolt, Bane, Devastation, Ruin, and grab Shadowburn.
Demonology: Pick Fel Intellect, Fel Stamina, and Master Summoner for pet power.
Affliction: A touch of Suppression for a chance to hit.
Once you get the 4-piece Tier 3, crits trigger extra DoT pulses, so this spec shines even brighter with gear progression.

Gear: Pre-BiS and BiS

Pre-BiS for Naxxramas:

Head: Spellweaver's Turban (UBRS).
Shoulders: Deathmist cloak (quest reward).
Chest: Void Robe (tailoring).
Trinket: Briar Reed (UBRS).

BiS with 4 pieces level 3:

Head: Plagueheart Circlet (Naxx).
Shoulders: Plagueheart Shoulderpads (Soul of the Ritualist rune).
Back: Veil of Darkness (Mark of Chaos rune).
Trinket: Restrained Essence of Sapphiron (Naxx).
The 4-part bonus makes crits divine - every pulse is a mini-explosion. Prioritise crits and spell power when upgrading.

Rotations: Burn It Down

Pre-BiS Rotation:

Curse of the Elements (raid utility).
Shadowflame → Haunt (crit fishing).
Corruption → Unstable Affliction.
Shadowbolt filler.
Refresh DoTs on the last tick.

4-piece Destruction Rotation:

Pre-cast Shadowflame.
Unstable Affliction → Haunt → Corruption.
Shadowflame filler (spam for crits).
Late reapplication of DoTs for maximum uptime.

Cleave Rotation (3+ targets):

Curse of Recklessness (if applied).
Unstable Affliction on primary target.
Shadowbolt Volley spam.
Refresh UA as needed.
Single-target fights favour the 4-piece setup, while Cleave relies on Volley. Most Naxx bosses die too quickly for heavy Cleave, so focus on single-target mastery.

That's your blueprint for dominating Phase 7 as a Destruction Warlock! To recap: stack consumables, time your DoTs with snapshots, and rely on crits with tier 3 gear. You're now armed to torch Naxxramas and beyond - go make those bosses sorry they crossed over!
