As Naxxramas opens its doors for Phase 7 of the Season of Discovery (SoD), WarcraftLogs (WCL) has released specific guidelines for how this raid will be analysed and ranked. Here's everything you need to know to make it to the top of the ladder.

Difficulty levels

Naxxramas on the Plus server introduces a hard mode system, and WCL has divided the raid into three difficulty levels based on how many zones are enabled:

Normal: No zones enabled.

Heroic: 1 to 3 zones enabled.

Epic: All 4 zones enabled.

Raid size

Official: Set at 20 players with a maximum of 40 allowed.

WCL Categories: Logs are split into 20-player and 21-40-player categories, with 20-player being the default difficulty shown on the front page.

Progression

Full Clear: To qualify for full progress on the front page, all bosses must be defeated in a group of 20 or fewer players with all hard modes enabled.

Boss specific rules

Gluth: Damage from small zombies does not count.

Grobbulus: Damage from mobs in the trap room doesn't count.

Anub'Rekhan: Damage from summoned scarabs does not count.

Grand Widow Faerlina: Does not include damage from her minions.

Instructor Razuvious: Damage caused by death knight students will not be counted.

Gothik the Harvester: This boss is not included in WCL statistics.

Kel'Thuzad: Abomination damage is not counted.

Other bosses: No special rules apply.

Tank Metrics

Tank Intent: To be recognised as a tank, you must：

Face the boss in a threat stance for at least 10 seconds or use special tank runes.

Actual Tank: Must receive at least 5 basic attacks from the boss (melee or spell), with at least 50% more attacks than any other player.
