Healer Tier List

Priest (S-Tier):
Discipline & Holy: Priests are currently the most powerful healers in Phase 4. Their ability to shield the entire raid using Soul Warding, combined with the utility of Binding Heal, makes them essential. The flexibility to switch between these runes provides them with unmatched versatility. While both specs are strong, Holy might slightly edge out Discipline due to the inclusion of Consecrate Heal. Holy Priests are also the top tank healers, making them indispensable when single-target healing is crucial.

Paladin (A-Tier):
Holy: Holy Paladins remain exceptional, particularly in single-target healing. They excel at healing tanks and can handle high-damage scenarios effectively. While not quite as versatile as Priests, they still provide immense value in any raid composition.

Druid & Shaman (B-Tier):
Restoration Druid & Shaman: Druids and Shamans are viable but don't reach the heights of Priests or Paladins in this phase. Druids benefit from strong HoTs and AoE healing, while Shamans provide reliable single-target healing. However, their overall performance is slightly lower in the current meta.

Mage (C-Tier):
Arcane: Arcane Mages are not the strongest healers in this phase. Although they gain some utility with the addition of Rewind Time in the bracer slot, they lose out on Molten Armor, which limits their effectiveness. Arcane Mages struggle to compete with other healing classes and are not highly recommended for high-end content.

Tank Tier List
Rogue & Protection Paladin (S-Tier):
Rogue: Rogues are the top-performing tanks in single-target damage, but their survivability is a concern, especially in tougher encounters.
Protection Paladin: Paladins, on the other hand, offer a balanced combination of strong damage output and high survivability, making them a top choice for most tanking situations. Their defensive capabilities make them particularly valuable in challenging content.

Demonology Warlock & Shaman (A-Tier):
Demo Warlock & Shaman: Both tanks are strong, with the Warlock offering high damage output and the Shaman providing utility and survivability. They are both solid choices but slightly fall behind the top-tier tanks.

Protection Warrior (B-Tier):
Prot Warrior: While Prot Warriors bring significant damage with their new stance, they are not as strong as Rogues or Paladins. They are still viable, especially in situations where defensive abilities are crucial, but they don't quite reach the same level of performance.

Feral Druid (C-Tier):
Feral Druid: Feral Druids are the weakest tanks in this tier list. They have some utility with AoE Swipe, but their overall damage output and survivability are not on par with other tanks. They may see more play in specific scenarios but are not the best overall choice.

DPS Tier List
Assassination Rogue (S-Tier):
Assassination: Assassination Rogues are currently the best-performing DPS class, excelling in single-target and AoE scenarios. The addition of Phantom Knives makes them especially potent in multi-target encounters. They are a top pick for maximizing raid DPS.

Fire Mage (S-Tier):
Fire: Fire Mages are incredibly strong in this phase, thanks to their uncapped Living Bomb and increased fire damage. They offer significant AoE potential and are slightly behind Assassination Rogues' overall damage output.

Combat Rogue & Feral Druid (A-Tier):
Combat Rogue: Combat Rogues are another strong DPS option, particularly in encounters where they can leverage their burst damage.
Feral Druid: Feral Druids also perform well, particularly in AoE situations. Their burst potential makes them a valuable addition to any raid team.

Hunter (A/B-Tier):
Survival & BM: Hunters have seen significant changes in this phase. Ranged Hunters are performing well, potentially even reaching S-Tier, thanks to their utility and strong AoE damage. However, melee Hunters have dropped to B, or even C-Tier and BM Hunters are difficult to rank due to a lack of data.

Warlock (A/B-Tier):
Affliction & Destruction: Warlocks are solid A-Tier DPS, with Affliction underperforming slightly compared to Destruction. However, they are still a strong choice, particularly in single-target scenarios.

Mage (B/C-Tier):
Frost & Arcane: Frost Mages are likely B or C-Tier, with limited data available. Arcane Mages, however, are at the bottom of the DPS rankings, struggling to keep up with other specs.

Druid (B-Tier):
Balance: Balance Druids have gained some utility with the addition of Starfall but remain a mid-tier DPS option. Their single-target damage is still lacking compared to other classes.

Shaman (B-Tier):
Elemental & Enhancement: Both Elemental and Enhancement Shamans are mid-tier DPS, with Elemental performing well in AoE scenarios and Enhancement struggling more than in previous phases.

Warrior (B/C-Tier):
Arms & Fury: Arms Warriors are currently lower-tier DPS, while Fury Warriors perform better, potentially reaching the bottom of A-Tier in certain encounters.

As Phase 4 of WoW Season of Discovery, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each class is crucial for maximizing your performance in raids and dungeons. Whether you're a healer, tank, or DPS, this tier list provides valuable insights to help you make informed decisions.
