Blizzard has announced another round of PTR testing for Naxxramas on the World of Warcraft Plus servers, scheduled to begin around the 29th of January (PST). This is the third phase of testing for Season of Discovery Phase 7, and will focus on refining the Death Knight (DK) wing mechanics, updating the Sanctified Gear system, and improving the Dawn Emblem upgrade process.
Naxxramas Raid Test
Test Window: The upcoming Naxxramas Raid Test will run from the 29th to the 31st of January, although these dates are subject to change.
Here's what players can expect:
New Mechanics for Instructor Razuvious: Making battles more accessible to groups with fewer Priests by introducing new mechanics.
Four Horsemen adjustments: Battle mechanics adjusted to challenge groups with fewer tanks (less than 4 or 8).
Command Mechanism Fix: Fixed an issue where the Command Mechanism would affect more than three players at once.
Post-DK Wing Buffs: Players will benefit from additional buffs after successfully clearing the DK Wing.
Sanctified Gear Overhaul
System updates:
Item cap reduced: Only 8 pieces of consecrated gear can contribute to stat boosts (down from 12).
Encouraging Gear Diversity: This change encourages mixing gear types without fear of losing the four-piece sanctified bonus.
Increased potency: Each piece of consecrated gear now provides more power to compensate for the reduced number.
Dawn Emblem as hallowed gear: The Dawn Emblem trinket, which provides bonuses within Naxxramas, is now considered hallowed gear.
Scourgebane Set Bonus Adjustment: Reduced from +3 to +2, making it easier to achieve hallowed effects with fewer pieces.

Improved mechanics:
Remnants of Valour: Dropped by Naxxramas bosses, these can be used by any player to upgrade their Dawn Emblem trinket.
Scaling upgrade costs: Higher levels of the emblem require more remnants; for example, going from level 9 to 10 is more expensive than going from level 4 to 5.
Improved drops at higher difficulty levels: Bosses with higher difficulty settings will drop more Remnants.
Catch-up mechanism: An external repeatable quest provides remnants that start small but increase over time.
Weekly upgrade cap: There's a limit to how much you can upgrade your trinket each week, based on server-wide progression, not individual player progress.
Account bound remnants: These can be traded to alt characters, ensuring that players can use their remnants effectively.
