With Patch 11.1 on the horizon, World of Warcraft players have a lot to look forward to, with the official release date set for the 25th of February, followed by the start of Season 2 on the 4th of March. Patch 11.1 Release and Season 2 Launch
Patch launch: 25 February, introducing new zones, dives, a drive mount, and character screen updates.
Season 2: Launches 4 March with new raids, Mythic+ dungeons, and higher item level rewards, all of which open at the same time, allowing players to dive right into the high-level content.
Class Buffs and Nerfs
Tanks:
Significant damage increases across the board:
Blood Death Knights and Guardian Druids receive a 20% increase.
Brewmaster Monks and Protection Paladins receive a 15% buff.
DPS and Healers:
Demon Hunters: Both Vengeance and Havoc receive buffs, with Havoc's abilities increasing by 5%, Blade Dance by 33%, and Sacrificial Aura by 12%.
Augmentation Evokers: Nerfs to 2-set and 4-set bonuses, reducing their procs.
Hunters: Beast Mastery nerfed, Marksmanship and Survival buffed.
Mages: Frost received minor nerfs, Fire benefits from Hero talent tree changes.
Monks: Brewmaster received a small buff, Mistweaver received a healing nerf.
Paladins: Retribution has been significantly buffed, with Final Reckoning increased by 75%.
Shaman: Enhancement receives multiple nerfs to reduce AoE effectiveness.
Warriors: Arms and Fury receive significant damage increases to core abilities.
Dungeon and Mythic+ Tweaks
General Nerf: All creatures in Mythic and Mythic+ dungeons have their Health reduced by 10%, speeding up content progression.
Specific changes: Individual dungeons receive targeted nerfs that reduce boss and trash health, change mechanics, and adjust timers for smoother gameplay.
Plunder Storm Event Fix
A fix for the Plunder Storm event will ensure that players get the rewards they deserve, with a new method for obtaining missed loot from a vendor in Dazar'alor after the weekly reset on 18 February.
D.R.I.V.E. and other fixes
Fixes to the D.R.I.V.E. system address issues with boosting, drifting, and dismounting behaviour.
