Blizzard reheats old food again, and the official Twitter account announces the reopening of the "Solo Mode".
The World of Warcraft official Twitter account promoted the "Self-Found Mode" of hardcore servers on February 23, indicating that the "reheated old food" will officially go online on February 29, US time, further increasing the difficulty based on the classic permadeath gameplay.
The "Solo Mode," as an optional gameplay mode for hardcore servers, can only be enabled when creating a character and can be turned off midway, but once turned off, it is permanent and cannot be reactivated.
Players participating in the "Solo Mode" will be unable to trade, use the auction house, or send and receive mail, and must rely solely on themselves to level up.
It is not yet clear whether this restriction will be automatically lifted after reaching level 60 or if it can only be manually lifted by players.
As of now, the official has not announced any item rewards for reaching the maximum level in the "Solo Mode." It is unknown what the significance of participating in this activity is and how many players will choose this mode.
