WotLK Classic - All Class DPS Ranking

Hello everyone, it's mmojugg here; last time I wrote an article about 4 tanks in wotlk classic, now let's find out which class is the best DPS in WotLK; the basis of comparison is based on the same equipment and similar gameplay.

In the previous tank rankings, the warrior became the T2 tank, but in the DPS ranking, the warrior is far ahead. The Titan's Grip of the Fury warrior has become the warrior's strongest skill; although it will reduce 10% of the physical damage, it can bring you a huge improvement. In the final version of Wrath of the Lich King, the Berserker has the ability to become the most powerful DPS; but the arms warrior is a lot worse in terms of group buffs, trauma's biggest beneficiary is the feral druid, but there are not many druids playing this talent, so the weapon warrior is not strong in DPS and providing group buffs.

Chimera Shot is a new skill added by the hunter in the version of Wrath of the Lich King. It is an instant skill, with a 10-second cooldown, instantly causing 125% weapon damage, and can refresh the stinger on the target and trigger a new effection. Hunter is not good at instant bursts, but it can provide persistent DPS, and in the group, the hunter needs to do a lot of things, so he does not need to have an exceptionally high DPS; In TBC, it is no longer strong in wotlk. Although the soul beast has significantly improved, it cannot change the vulnerable situation; the survival hunter is similar to the arms warrior. It cannot provide enough buffs for the group members, and its DPS is Not strong either.

Marksmanship DPS Rating: 7 Beastmaster Rating: 1 Survival DPS Rating: 3

Rogue is a compelling class from the beginning to the end in wotlk. In wotlk, rogue makes up for the last weakness - range attack, with the glyph of fan of knives, which significantly improves rogue's weakness in AOE; Combat talent is the main DPS talent of rogue. It cannot be said to be at the T0 level, but it can always remain in the position of T1. Although rogue cannot provide powerful buffs for the team, they can provide enough DPS.

Shaman has been reduced to a nobody of the wotlk from TBC's T0 class. It can only be regarded as a medium level, whether elemental or enhance talent. The Warlock's Demon Pact will replace its skyfury totem, and the Death Knight's talent will also replace the unleashed rage of the Enhance Talent, so shaman will not be particularly popular in Wrath of the Lich King.

Elemental DPS Rating: 2 Enhance DPS Rating: 3

Warlock is a very mysterious class. Affliction warlock is one of the most detailed occupations in the whole wotlk, but the DPS he can provide is also very high; the demonology warlock is the same as before. It is a buff machine; Destruction Warlock is strong in PVP but weak in PVE.

Affliction DPS Rating: 9 Demonology DPS Rating: 6 Destruction DPS Rating: 2

Retribution Paladin is mighty in terms of DPS. In terms of single-target DPS, it is only slightly weaker than the fury warrior with the orange axe. His only shortcoming is the massive loss of DPS when switching targets, but overall, DPS no doubt is mighty enough.

Retribution DPS Rating: 9

Although with the progress of Wrath of the Lich King, the death knight has always been weakened, in the later stage of wotlk, because of the orange axe, DK's DPS of the unholy DK is still good; frost DK is just so so.

Unholy DPS rating: 7  Frost DPS rating: 5

Shadow priests are powerful. They can bring not only powerful buffs to group members but also have good DPS. Therefore, all mage classes in the group love shadow priests, except when they want the same weapons.

Shadow DPS Rating: 6

Mage is also a mighty DPS from the Wrath of the Lich King version to the end. The arcane mage in the early stage and the fire mage in the later stage are all mighty DPS, especially the fire mage in the final part, which should be a lich King's Wrath's first DPS; the fire mage not only has high DPS but also has the best gameplay feeling. After you try fire mage, you don't want to play other classes anymore.

Arcane DPS score: 7 Fire DPS score: 10 Frost DPS score: 1

Balance Druid not only has a high DPS but also brings a lot of group buff. A team may not have a healer druid, but there must be a balance druid; Feral Druid can't say that the DPS is low, but the gameplay is more complicated, so most people can't play well. At the same time, like the paladin, the DPS loss is huge when switching targets.

Balanced DPS Rating: 7 Feral Talent DPS Rating: 5

Final ranking:

T0: Fury Warrior, Battle Rogue, Fire Mage, Retribution Knight, Affliction Warlock

T1: Marksmanship Hunter, Unholy DK, Shadow Priest, Arcane Mage, Balance Druid

T2: Demonology Warlock, frost DK, feral Druid

T3: Arms Warrior, Enhance Shaman, Elemental Shaman, Destruction Warlock, Survival Hunter

T4: Beastmaster Hunter, Assassin Rogue, Subtlety Rogue, frost Mage
