Prerequisites for TBC Anniversary Swift Flight Form(Phase 2)

Hit level 70 post-launch. Train Artisan Riding (300 skill) for 5,000g—this unlocks the chain and epic mounts. Basic Flight Form at 68 bundles Expert Riding free, slashing costs by ~900g.

Buy and stock herbs now on phase 1 via the Auction House. Hearth in Moonglade. Use a "ghetto hearth" (joining a group for Gruul/Magtheridon and leaving) to skip cooldowns on long treks to Shattrath.

Kickoff: Herbs, Potion, and Dream Escort

Druid trainers offer "Morthis Whisperwing." If they are stubborn, Loganaar in Moonglade (48.4, 40.6) starts it. Then head to Cenarion Refuge, Zangarmarsh (79.2, 64.6) for "Ward of Wakening."

• Gathering: Bogblossom is found on mushroom tops; Dreaming Glory and Ancient Lichen can be picked or bought.

• Whisperwing brews the Awakening Potion. Teleport to Moonglade and head to the Barrow Dens.

• Escort: Defend Klintar Dreamwalker's spirit and snag 5 relics vs. nightmares. Hearth up by the finish.

Pre-HoT Klintar at the escort start—delayed relics pull nightmare patrols, which can bloat your completion time by 2-3 minutes.

Arakkoa Disguise and Sparrowhawk Hunt

Morthis leads you to Arthorn Windsong in Evergrove (Blade's Edge, 61, 39) for "The Book of the Raven."

1. Collect Aether Ray Eye from Aether Rays (Terokkar Forest /way 28.8 79.6). 

2. Use Seer's Stone south of Ogri'la (Blade's Edge /way 74.6 25.6) to reveal Psyche.

3. Meet Allyra (Twilight Ridge, Nagrand, 29, 37) and net a Windroc using Cat Prowl and Cyclone.

4. Use the Sparrowhawk Whistle in Skettis (Terokkar, 41, 82) to guide 8 stones amid mobs.

Avoid over-whistling as it can chain aggro. Use 10-second pauses or Feign Death adds if you are soloing.

Conquering the Three Spirit Trials

Arthorn provides notes and a Flight trinket (+40 speed). These trials test your mastery of different forms.

The Falcon's shadow stacks are uncapped. A well-timed Bash mid-cast shaves 10 seconds off the fight and averts potential wipes.

Moonstone Retrieval and Anzu Showdown

Retrieve the Southfury Moonstone from the Azshara river (42, 50) by chasing the goblin Rizzle. Return to Morthis for the Essence-Infused Moonstone. You now need a Heroic Sethekk Halls group to face Anzu. (Vanquish the Raven God Quest)

Anzu Boss Mechanics

• Spell Bomb: An 8s Curse that deals 1k damage per cast. Dispel this immediately.

• Cyclone of Feathers: A 6s Cyclone that requires players to spread out.

• Paralyzing Screech: A 5s cast leading to a 6s AoE stun. Pre-HoT the tank before it lands.

• Banish Phase: Anzu becomes immune at 66% and 33% health. Use the Eagle spirit for AoE.

Rewards: Swift Flight Form, Charm of Swift Flight, and the Raven Goddess Idol. You also gain the ability to perform a weekly farm for the 1% drop rate Reins of the Raven Lord.
