Unlock the Dailies: Head to the Argent Tournament Grounds and pick up the quest “The Argent Tournament” from Justicar Mariel Trueheart. Complete the introductory quests to unlock daily quests, which reward Champion's Seals.

Earn Seals Efficiently: You can earn up to 17 Champion's Seals per day by completing all available dailies, selecting the Champion's Purse reward (1 seal each), and clearing the heroic Trial of the Champion dungeon (3 seals). Early on, your reputation with the Argent faction will limit your daily quests, but as you gain rep, you'll unlock more, boosting your efficiency.

Buy Valuable Pets: Use your seals to purchase pets like the Ammen Vale Lashling, Dun Morogh Cub, Durotar Scorpion, Elwynn Lamb, Teldrassil Sproutling, and Mechano Peep. Each pet costs 40 seals, meaning you can grab one every 2–3 days (or 2 pets per week).

Profit Now or Later: These pets are tradeable so that you can sell them on the auction house now—recent prices on some servers show Elwynn Lamb at 5,000 gold, while others like Teldrassil Sproutling fetch 15,000 gold. Alternatively, hold onto them, Mop Mop, where demographics will likely increase with the introduction of the pet system.

Pro Tip: Pets like the Teldrassil Sproutling and Mechano Peep are beneficial for pet battles in MoP, making them great for both personal use and profit. Start farming now to build your collection!

Stock Up at the Darkmoon Faire

The Darkmoon Faire is another fantastic way to prepare for MoP Classic, offering exclusive pets that will become tradeable in the new expansion. Here's how to take advantage:

Farm Darkmoon Tokens: Park your characters on Darkmoon Island and complete daily quests during the Faire, which now runs every other week in Cataclysm Classic (e.g., March 1–9, then March 15–23). You can earn up to 281 tokens per Faire by doing everything:

105 tokens from pet battle dailies (7 days).

80 tokens from dungeon and PvP books (buyable on the auction house for ~100 gold each).

42 tokens from mini-games (7 days).

20 tokens from profession quests.

10 tokens from “Testing Your Strength” (250 ears).

10 tokens from Moonfang-related quests.

Buy Exclusive Pets: Use your tokens to grab pets like the Darkmoon Balloon, Darkmoon Zepplin, Darkmoon Turtle, Darkmoon Tonk, Darkmoon Cub, Darkmoon Eye, Darkmoon Hatchling, and Darkmoon Monkey (90–100 tokens each). The Darkmoon Rabbit is also available, but requires killing the Darkmoon Rabbit on the island.

Prepare for Mop: Currently, these pets are soulbound, but in Mop Classic, you'll be able to cage them, making them tradeable. Stock up now by either keeping tokens in your inventory or purchasing pets without learning them (to avoid duplicates). In MoP, these pets could sell for 10,000 gold or more—especially since fewer players are stockpiling them compared to Argent Tournament pets.

Gold Conversion Trick: Buy dungeon and PvP books on the auction house for ~1,000 gold to earn 80 tokens, enough to purchase a pet that could sell for 10,000 gold in MoP—a 10x return on investment!

Why Prioritize Darkmoon Faire? While Argent Tournament pets are already tradeable (and thus more players have stockpiled them since Wrath), Darkmoon Faire pets are currently soulbound, meaning fewer players are preparing with them. This makes them a hidden gold mine for MoP—start farming tokens now to capitalize on the demand spike.
