After a week of intense player backlash and a barrage of negative Steam reviews, GGG has “rushed to their knees” to address the community's frustrations. The Dawn of the Hunt league has faced significant criticism, with Steam's recent reviews dropping to a “Mostly Negative” rating, reflecting player discontent over difficulty, bugs, and overall polish. In response, GGG announced a new patch set for mid-next week, featuring a highly requested change: the ability to respec Ascendancy classes. Originally planned for the next league, GGG has fast-tracked this feature to ease player frustrations. To respec, players must redo an Ascendancy Trial that matches their current point total, have zero points allocated, and can now use the Respec window at Balbala or the Trialmaster near the Ascension device. Ultimatum trials for 4 and 6 points have also been lowered to levels 55 and 65, respectively, down from 60 and 75, making the process more accessible.  

The patch also includes endgame improvements, such as adding extra rares and map drops to Tower and Hideout maps for better sustain, crafting updates like removing lower-tier runes from high-level drop pools and adding socket support for Scepters, and totem buffs with elemental resistance scaling up to 75% at gem level 20. The Shard Scavenger skill now restores grenade cooldowns and prevents crossbow bolt consumption, while a new gemcutting tab displays equipped gems for easier management.
