PoE2 0.2.0 Patch Note: Unique Item Changes

by        Game: Path of Exile 2 Guide        Tags: PoE2 0.2.0 Patch Note

The Dawn of the Hunt patch notes for Path of Exile 2 (Patch 0.2.0) are live, and with the update dropping tomorrow, 4 April 2025, uniques are in for a wild ride. Grinding Gear Games is reining in some league-defining giants - Astramentis, Ingenuity and Temporalis are in the spotlight - while teasing over 100 new uniques for mid- and end-game glory. Full stats for the newcomers are still under wraps, but with Hunter-friendly spears, bucklers and charms in the mix, the hype is off the charts. Keep us on your radar and dive into our PoE2 store—whatever you're dreaming of, we'll deliver! Here's every change, with special love to the trio everyone's talking about.

Astramentis Unique Amulet

The Astramentis Unique Amulet - a stat-boosting icon from leagues past - has been tweaked:
Now +50-100 to all attributes (down from 80-100) - less of an attribute avalanche.
Existing versions can be nerfed to the new range with a Divine Orb - your call, hoarders!
This amulet was a go-to for builds that relied heavily on attribute scaling, and the nerf dials back its raw power. It's still a solid flex for multi-attribute lovers, but it's not the god-tier stat bomb it once was - balance strikes again!

Ingenuity Unique Belt

The Ingenuity Unique Belt, a ring-boosting titan in earlier leagues, takes a new shape:
Drops 40-80% increased bonuses from equipped rings for 20-30% increased bonuses from left ring and 20-30% from right ring - more targeted, less blanket juice.
Adds +1-2 Charm Slots, offset by -20-20% increased Charm Charges Gained and -10-10 reduced Charm Charges Used-Charms come at a price.
Existing versions skip these changes - vintage belts remain OP if you've got one!
Once a ringstacker's dream, Ingenuity trades some of its old dominance for charm potential. It's a nerf with a twist - expect Charm-focused builds to give it a spin.

Temporalis Unique Body Armour

The Temporalis Unique Body Armour, the cooldown king of yesteryear, has been clipped:
Skills now have a -2 to -1 second cooldown (down from -4 to -2) - less spam, more strategy.
Existing versions can be updated to the new values with a Divine Orb, but the notes cheekily ask "Why would you?
This was a cooldown stacking beast, and the nerf slows its roll. It's still a solid choice for skill spinners, but the days of near-instant resets are over - community tears are flowing, but it's a fair hit.

Why It's a Big Deal

The nerfs to Astramentis, Ingenuity, and Temporalis are seismic—past league MVPs are toned down to level the playing field. Astramentis loses Attribute Power, Ingenuity pivots to Charm play, and Temporalis slows its cooldown reign. Meanwhile, over 100 new uniques - geared for mid- and late-game play with Huntress flair - tease an explosion of loot we can't wait to unpack. Buffs like Atziri's Disdain's ES tweak and Mahuxotl's new perk keep old favourites relevant, while rarity cuts signal a tighter balance. The 4th of April is shaping up to be a gear hunter's dream time to re-roll those Divines!
