Pick your Jewel based on your goal. Sapphires for spellcasters, Emeralds for quiver builds, Rubies if you're feeling strengthless. Quality doesn't matter much - focus on the basic type.  

Use Orb of transmutation to roll for high-value mods. For Emeralds, aim for Increased Bonuses from Equipped Quiver (5-15%)—10%+ is the sweet spot. On Sapphires, chase Critical Damage Bonus or Mana on Kill. Rubies? Maximum Fire Resistance or Rage on Hit are your best bets. Keep rolling until you hit something juicy - patience pays off.  

Once you've got a top-tier mod, use an Orb of Augmentation to add a second, then a Regal Orb for a third. If you're flush with currency, an Exalted Orb can slam a fourth mod.
