New World Aeternum Get PvP Artifacts Without PvP

by        Game: New World Aeternum Guide

Hey, Exiles of Aeternum! If you're a PVE diehard in New World: Aeternum eyeing those juicy PvP Track artifacts—like Cowl of Power or Grace—but the thought of duking it out in Outpost Rush makes you cringe, you're in luck. From January 21, 2025, with Season 7 in full swing, you won't have to swing a sword at another player to level up your PvP Reward Track and stack that Azoth Salt. I've been grinding these tracks without breaking a sweat in PvP, and I'm here to spill my go-to methods—safe, efficient, and perfect for keeping your exile vibes chill. Let's get you those artifacts without the bloodshed!

Why PvP Track Artifacts Matter (Even for PVE)

The PvP Rewards Track hides some killer artefacts behind a grind - think 700 Gear Score gear with unique perks that can boost any build, PvE or PvP. The problem is, the system is a slog: artefacts only drop at the third checkpoint (10,000 XP) of tracks like Warrior or Mage, with low odds before level 50 (29 and 39) and better odds after level 50 (54 is a 97% chance!). It costs 500,000 XP to reach level 50 - daunting if you hate PvP. But don't worry - there's a backdoor way for PVE players to rake in PvP XP and salt without facing a single enemy.

Method 1: Great Rift PvP Missions - The PVE Goldmine

What's the game? Head to Warden's Rise Outpost in Great Cleave, grab three faction PvP missions, and kill 'em fast - no PvP required.

Mission Breakdown:

Show of Strength: Hang out in the Bite zone for 90 seconds - stay down while you do the others.
Infiltrate: Pick up an item (west for Marauders, east for Covenant), drop it off (north or west).
Enemy Intelligence: Loot 5 chests behind the bite respawn infinitely for missions.

How It Works:

Start at the Outpost—30-second PvP protection kicks in (bottom-left flag).
Hit Shrine of the Wolf (steps up, down)—refreshes protection.
Tag the Meridian Shrine - another 30 seconds.
Grab the item, loot the chests, drop it off-Show of Strength ends mid-run.
Sprint back to the tag shrines if things get dicey, or risk it if things are quiet.

Numbers:

Per Run: 1,050 PvP XP, 600 Azoth Salt, 3,136 Faction Tokens, 17 gold (5 mins).
Hourly: 12,600 XP, 7,200 salt (first 3 daily bonuses = extra juice).
Safety Boost: New shrines (post-Season 7) chain 30-second protections—gankers can't touch you if you're quick. Maxed Riding Skill (Mount speed) or Rapier (Fleche) = escape artist mode.
Pros: 6+ track levels/hour, safe as houses - grind with a podcast and chill.
Cons: 5 minute mission reset - watch it or collect Lodestone (50 gold/stack) while waiting.

Method 2: AFK Faction Control Points - Set it and forget it

How it works: Park at a faction control point (big flag) not owned by your crew, go AFK, and let the capture timer (15 mins) gift you XP.

How it works:

Pick a quiet fort—Cutlass Keys outskirts over Everfall hotspots.
Sit on the flag - 1,100 PvP XP, 300 Azoth Salt per cap.
Recall to an inn, hop to another fort, repeat while scripting or snacking.

Numbers: 3 caps/hour (if undisturbed) = 3,300 XP, 900 salt-1-2 track levels.
Pros: Pure AFK - work, eat, whatever, and still earn. Squad up via faction chat for faster, safer caps.
Cons: Gank risk on busy servers/times - older servers are quieter. Caps nerf after 10/day.
Tips: Hit off-peak hours (mornings), less-traveled zones. Tell faction mates where you are to scare off griefers!

Bonus: Outpost Rush for PvE players

What's the game? Join the Outpost Rush (Activity Finder, F10), skip the battles and rack up points PvE style.
How: Build forts (500 points), collect mats (100+), kill the baron (1,000)-3,000+ points/match, no PvP required. Win = 2,500 XP, 2,000 salt; lose = 2,000 XP, 1,000 salt.
Numbers: 3 matches/hour = 6,750 XP, 4,500 Salt (50% win rate).
Tips: Check out my OPR PvE guide (online) - fortify, dodge, profit. A quiet alternative to mission loops!

The Grind Breakdown

Great Cleave: 12,600 XP, 7,200 salt/hour - fast, safe, steady.
AFK points: 3,300 XP, 900 Salt/hour—lazy, low-yield, but free.
OPR PvE: 6,750 XP, 4,500 salt/hour-fun mix, decent loot.
Goal: 500,000 XP to track 50-40 hours on Great Cleave, 70+ on OPR, age AFK. Post-50, artifacts rain—Level 54's a 97% shot!
Mix it up—Great Cleave 'til your eyes glaze, AFK while adulting, OPR for variety. I'm chasing Cowl of Power - 30 hours in, no sweat in PvP. What's your artefact target?

Pro Tips to Stack the Deck

Boosts: Double XP tokens (Season Pass freebies)-25,000+ XP/hour on Great Cleave!
Gear: Heavy armor + Great Axe (Gravity Well)—gank-proof escapes.
Salt: 30,000-50,000 per artefact - spend wisely at checkpoints.
Quiet Runs: Off-peak (mornings) or low-pop servers—less grief, more peace.
