New Class Revealed in Final Fantasy XIV 7.0 Update

Today, Final Fantasy XIV unveiled some information about the new ranged class, "Pictomancer," in the upcoming 7.0 version:
The class starts at level 80, and the initial quest is in Gridania.
Using a paintbrush as a weapon, this job engages in combat by materializing imagination.
It goes beyond just weapons or creatures; even landscapes can be materialized for combat.
Painting itself requires magic, but spells that do not require chanting are available.
Despite having team support skills, it is not a support job, nor a purely offensive job like Black Mage, and it does not have resurrection abilities.
Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.55 Part 2 is set to release on January 16th, and the female Hrothgar featured in the 7.0 promotional video will appear in the quests.
