Great news! The coolest eyewear in World of Warcraft can now be Transmogrified!

After thirteen years since the release of "Cataclysm," the item "Lord Godfrey's Old Spectacles" has finally been discovered in patch 10.2.5. These glasses were added in patch 4.0.1 of Cataclysm back in 2010 but weren't made available to players and were essentially forgotten. Later, they appeared in the transmogrification collection options in patch 10.0.5, which further attracted collectors!

However, since the release of patch 10.2.5, anglers in Azeroth have discovered that the item can be obtained by fishing in the waters of Gilneas. Obtaining these glasses doesn't seem to require completing the Gilneas questline, and the number of fishing attempts required may vary. Reports range from dozens to hundreds of attempts, and it seems unrelated to fishing skill levels from WoW Classic or the Dragonflight era. Happy hunting, collectors!
