Arc Raiders just dropped a new trader named Ermal in the Nomadic Envoys, and he's shaking up how we handle inventory and progression. The guy takes Arc parts for stash expansions, protected Expedition Vault slots, blueprints, and cosmetics. It feels like a real endgame sink, but the costs hit hard and there are some clunky mechanics that make rushing in a bad idea right now.
You hand over high-value Arc parts — Queen Reactors, Matriarch Reactors, Vaporizer Regulators, Rocketeer Drivers, Bastion Cells, and similar drops — and they convert into trade value. Everything is all-in: you commit the full amount in one go, no gradual payments like regular projects. That single detail creates real friction when you're trying to unlock multiple slots.
Right now stash expansion costs 200k value for +12 slots. Expedition Vault slots are also sitting at 200k each for the first five. Developers are watching feedback this week, so prices could drop. Many players, myself included, think holding off on heavy spending makes sense until the next reset.
The real pain point is inventory management. To unlock the final Vault slot you need massive stacks of parts, and you have to free up dozens of stash spaces just to hold everything before trading. It's workable but annoying.
One practical path that stands out: Focus on Queen Reactors early. They give strong value per inventory slot and feel more efficient than grinding lower-tier cores in bulk.
Farming has turned topside into complete chaos. Everyone is racing for the same spawns, so speed and positioning decide who walks away with the loot. Here's what actually delivers results based on tested runs:
Queen leg sniping stands out as the strongest option for skilled players. Set up at safe spots like Bluegate checkpoint or the Dam harvester. Use an Equalizer to drop legs yourself, then grab the cores fast. Good runs hit 100-180k value per hour. It takes practice to predict patterns and beat other raiders to the loot, but once it clicks the consistency is excellent.
Riven Tides quick clears offer the best balance for most players. Spawn in, take out the initial Bastion, Bombardier, Vaporizer, and Rocketeer cluster (strong cover helps), then extract after 15 minutes. Repeat. This reliably pushes around 120k per hour without dragging into long fights like the Turbine.
Lower-risk options like looting Rocketeer Husks during electromagnetic storms bring in about 50-55k per hour with almost zero death risk. Solid choice when servers feel extra sweaty or you're just not in the mood for big fights.
Competition is the biggest variable. In contested events like Close Scrutiny, you need mobility and a plan to secure kills. Some areas feel barely worth it if too many raiders show up.
I think a lot of people overlook how risky it is to run around loaded with Arc parts. One bad death and you lose time and progress. Smart extracts matter more than ever.
Ermal's stock rotates. This week includes the Wolf Pack blueprint (500k), Anvil Splitter (100k), Chap outfit, and some cheap consumables. The ducks for the Magnetic Accelerator are annoying to collect after recent spawn tweaks, so only chase them if you really want that weapon mod.

Blueprints remain the biggest draw for many — a reliable way to get key items without pure RNG pharmacy looting.
Reward | Value Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Stash Expansion | 200,000 | +12 slots, repeatable |
Expedition Vault Slot | 200,000 each | Up to 5, great for blueprints |
Wolf Pack Blueprint | 500,000 | Strong reliable option |
Cosmetics / Emotes | 100k–500k | Rotating weekly value |
Trade the required Arc part value at Ermal. Each Vault slot is separate, and items stored there carry to your next expedition. Unlock stash space first so you actually have room to hold the parts you're farming.
Queen leg farming gives the highest potential for experienced players. Riven Tides quick runs work better for consistent results with less risk. Pick based on your gear and comfort — test a few sessions and track your own hourly value.
Probably not. Week-one prices are high, and the team is collecting feedback. Getting one stash expansion early helps with farming, but holding off on full Vault unlocks until adjustments hit is the smarter play for most.
It adds up fast. Efficient parts like Queen Reactors reduce the total stacks required. Expect serious grinding if you want every Vault slot.
Yes — the all-in trade requirement means you can't test small amounts, and carrying heavy Arc inventory makes every run riskier. Death with a full bag hurts.
Stash space first, then key blueprints through trading or targeted farming. The rest can wait for better rates.
Ermal adds welcome progression for Arc hoarders, but the current setup rewards patience and efficient farming over panic spending.
