ESO Weekly Vendor Reset: Top Items to Grab 13March

       by        Game: ESO Guide

Hey there, ESO adventurers! It's Tuesday, which means the weekly vendor reset has kicked in, and Tamriel's merchants are rolling out fresh loot from 10:00 a.m. EST today until next Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. EST. Three vendors—in the Infinite Archive, Scholarium, and Imperial City—have restocked their shelves with everything from mythic leads to snazzy scripts. Whether you're a solo player dodging PvP chaos or a Tel Var tycoon looking to splurge, I've got the scoop on what's worth your time and currency. Let's dive in with some tips, a sprinkle of sass, and a whole lot of Elder Scrolls Online goodness!

Why the Vendor Reset Is Your Weekly Power-Up

Picture this: every Tuesday, ESO vendors flip their stock like a Tamriel thrift store on clearance day. It's your chance to snag rare leads, powerful sets, and quirky scripts without slogging through endless grinds—or risking a gankfest in PvP zones. But here's the catch: not everything's a treasure. Some items are shiny distractions designed to drain your wallet. My mission? To guide you through the chaos and help you spend smart.

1. Infinite Archive Vendor: Solo Player's Paradise

The Infinite Archive vendor is a free-to-play haven, perfect for those of us who'd rather chat with NPCs than real people. Before you shop, grab your free Archival Fortunes—it's like free gold, so don't sleep on it. Here's what's up for grabs this week:

Malacath's Brutal Rune Core Lead

Cost: 15,000 Archival Fortunes
Why It's a Win: This lead is a shortcut to the Malacath's Band of Brutality mythic—a 16% flat damage boost that stacks with everything (at the cost of 50% crit damage). Normally, you'd brave Imperial City's upper district bosses for this, dodging PvP gankers like a scared skeever. Solo players, rejoice—this is your ticket to skipping that nightmare.
Malacath's a PvP classic. If you love big hits over fancy crits, grab it.

Dwarven Stonekeeper Shoulders

Cost: 15,000 Archival Fortunes
Worth It? These shoulders fetch 700k–800k gold on the market. But 15k Fortunes is about 12 hours of grinding. If you're gold-rich and time-poor, buy it. Otherwise, save your Fortunes for something rarer.

Clockwork City Treasure Maps

Cost: 2,000 Archival Fortunes
Verdict: Skip. No big-ticket items here—just a gamble not worth taking.

Companion Jewelry Boxes

Cost: Varies
Why I Love It: Jewelry's a safe bet. Unlike weapons with dud traits (healing sword, anyone?), rings always have potential. Stash 'em for a future build or equip 'em now—your call.

Scripts: Courage & Shock Damage

Cost: Varies
Pass or Play: Shock Damage is decent for Sorcerers, and Courage is a solo player's lifeline, but both drop often enough elsewhere. Save your Fortunes unless you're desperate.
Pro Tip: Prioritize leads over fluff. Fortunes are precious—spend 'em where it counts.

2. Scholarium Vendor: Scribing Spotlight

Nestled in the Scribing hub, the Scholarium vendor offers rotating scripts for your gold. This week's lineup is… well, let's call it “eclectic.”

Cavalier's Charge

Cost: Gold (varies)
Why It's Fun: This script turns you into a zooming whirlwind. It's not meta-breaking, but it's a blast for mobility lovers. Got extra gold? Treat yourself—it's like a rollercoaster for your character.

Magicka Steal & Dispel

Verdict: Nope. Magicka Steal is too niche, and Dispel's a snooze. Keep your gold for something flashier.
Heads-Up: The Class Mastery script is static—always there, no rush. New to Scribing? Focus on unlocking Luminary sigils first to expand your options.

3. Imperial City Vendor: Tel Var Temptations

The Imperial City vendor is a PvP paradise, trading in Tel Var for high-stakes loot. Here's what's worth your stash:

Spell Strategist Set

Cost: 25,000 Tel Var
Why It Slaps: Mark a target with a light attack, and boom—460 weapon and spell damage for five seconds (refreshes every four). It's a PvP beast if you can weave like a pro. Pair it with a burst set like Malina for maximum chaos. I'd rate it an 8/10—underrated but lethal.

Pearls of Ehlnofey

Cost: 25,000 Tel Var
Skip It: Great for support builds, but it's farmable in Banished Cells I. Unless dungeons make you break out in hives, save your Tel Var.

Wide-Barbed Shank Lead

Cost: 25,000 Tel Var
Why It's Hot: Part of the Death Dealer's Fete mythic, a max-stat monster for Mag Wardens and Sorcs. Farming Kagrenac's Reward chests solo is a slog—25k Tel Var (75k–100k gold equivalent) is a steal if you've got it.

Scripts: Heroism, Interrupt, Bleed Damage, Leeching Thirst

Favorite Pick: Heroism is my MVP. Infinite ultimate regen in PvP? Yes, please. The others are meh—Interrupt's situational, Bleed Damage is fine, and Leeching Thirst is overpriced unless you've already unlocked it.
Tel Var Trick: Got a stockpile with no plans? Spend it on leads or Heroism. Otherwise, hoard it for a rainy day.

Fragment of the Baron

This fragment ties into the Baron's Sunspire style, requiring Sunspire trials and The Cauldron dungeon. Solo players might want to buy it to skip group content, but if you're farming The Cauldron anyway (100% drop rate), hold off—it'll come to you.

Spend Smart, Win Big

The vendor reset is all about weighing your options. Solo players, grab those mythic leads like Malacath's or Wide-Barbed Shank to dodge grindy group content. PvP fiends, don't sleep on Spell Strategist or Heroism. But skip the filler—your currencies are too valuable for junk. Time's gold in ESO, so spend where it saves you the most hassle.
