ESO Weekly Vendor: Cool Items, Mythics, Scripts

       by        Game: ESO Guide

The Elder Scrolls Online's weekly vendors are back with a fresh rotation as of March 18, 2025, and there's plenty to unpack before the reset on Tuesday, March 25, at 10:00 AM EST (11:00 PM HKT). From the Infinite Archive to the Scholarium and Imperial City's Tel Var Merchant, these vendors offer a mix of treasures—some worth snagging, others better left alone. Whether you're chasing Mythics, scripts, or just some shiny cosmetics, here's the breakdown of what's hot (and what's not) this week, based on the latest YouTube rundown from Jake Clips. Let's dive into the loot!

Infinite Archive Vendor (Filer Ool) – Apocrypha

Located in the free-to-play Infinite Archive in Apocrypha, Filer Ool's wares cost Archival Fortunes—earned by tackling the Archive's challenges. Here's what's up for grabs until next Tuesday:

Infinite Archive Treasure Map (5,000 Fortunes): A total dud. These drop like candy in the Archive, so don't waste your currency here. Skip it.

Promises of the Circle Leather (Mythic Lead, 15,000 Fortunes): A lead for the Stormreaver's Cavort Mythic. Normally a pain to farm from Leyawiin events or delves (daily coffer RNG is brutal), this could save you a headache. The Mythic itself? It's niche—can enable infinite sprint builds, but it's not a must-have. Worth it if you're a completionist or love sprinting across Tamriel; otherwise, pass.

Tremorscale Mask Style Page (15,000 Fortunes): A rare cosmetic with a Mighty Chudan vibe. Market value hovers around 4-5 million gold (despite a 20 million listing outlier), with historical peaks at 18.9 million. For 15,000 Fortunes, it's a steal if you're after the look and don't mind it being character-bound. Big flex potential!

Stonefalls Treasure Map (2,000 Fortunes): Overpriced for a basic zone map. Stonefalls is cool, but not 2,000 Fortunes cool. Skip unless you're swimming in currency.

Light Armor Companion Gear Box (7,000 Fortunes): Decent for rolling healing traits on a companion, but not a hot commodity compared to tank gear. If you've got millions of Fortunes and want a healer buddy, maybe. Most players can skip.

Currency of Secrets Book (Furnishing): A fun lore item revealing “dirty secrets.” No practical use, but a nice housing flex if you're into that. Price wasn't specified—assume it's cheapish (5,000-10,000 Fortunes). Niche pick.

Last Edition of Basmuz (Furnishing): A tiny book for your shelf. Cute, but skippable unless you're a lore hoarder.

Scripts: Brittle, Empower, Taunt, Fencer's Parry (20,000 Fortunes each): Taunt's a gem for tanks desperate for that script—worth the splurge if you're building one. Brittle's okay, but you can get it elsewhere cheaper. Empower and Fencer's Parry? Meh, not worth 20,000. Grab Taunt if you're a tank main; otherwise, save your Fortunes.

Fragment of Something (5,000 Fortunes): A generic public dungeon fragment. Cheap and easy to farm yourself—don't bother buying.

Unreliable Archive Map (Face Marking, 140,000 Fortunes): From Shattered Mirror Maze. At that price, it's a hard no unless you're a diehard cosmetic collector with Fortunes to burn.

Verdict: The Tremorscale Mask and Taunt script stand out. The Mythic lead's a maybe if you're into Stormreaver's Cavort. The rest? Mostly fluff for deep-pocketed players.

Scholarium Vendor (Chronicler Firandil) – The Scholarium

Found in Eyevea (accessed via mage guild portals), the Scholarium vendor deals in Ink and offers rotating scripts alongside static grimoires. This week's scripts (prices not specified, assume 5,000-10,000 Ink each):
Cowardice: Weak sauce. Skip unless you're desperate for a bad PvP debuff.
Mitigation: Solid defensive option. Great for tanks or PvP—grab it if you don't own it.
Restore Resources: A PvP star. Major/minor resource recovery can ditch sustain sets like Wretched Vitality. Highly recommended if you're building sustain-light.
Class Mastery: Always available, but niche. Depends on your class—check its value for your build.
Growing Impact: Decent damage boost. Worth owning, but not urgent this week.
Verdict: Mitigation and Restore Resources are the winners—huge for PvP or survivability. Buy what you don't have; there's a theory you're more likely to roll unowned scripts later (unconfirmed, but intriguing!).

Tel Var Merchant – Imperial City (Lambent Passage)

In the Imperial City's alliance bases, this vendor takes Tel Var stones earned from PvP chaos. Here's the haul:

Elysian Set (Price not specified, assume 10,000-20,000 Tel Var): Old-school PvP health recovery set (up to 1,320 based on resistances). Was meta with Troll King, but health recovery's nerfed hard by Battle Spirit. Niche for infinite regen builds—skip unless you're experimenting.
Impregnable Set (Magicka, Stamina, or Health variants, ~10,000-20,000 Tel Var): Generic stats (health, stam, magicka, crit resistance). Sorcerers might like it, but it's outclassed unless no-CP campaigns like Ravenwatch spike. Pass for now.
Buoyant Steel (Mythic Lead, 25,000 Tel Var): Lead for Thrassian Stranglers. Drops from saltwater fishing (likely Stros M'Kai). Niche Mythic for score-pushing or Overland farming—not essential, but fishing's profitable with Perfect Roe drops. Decent buy if you hate RNG.
Shadowy Saya Stitching (Mythic Lead, 10,000 Tel Var): Lead for Shadow Queen's Cowl. From delve bosses (5-8 min cooldown). PvE-focused Mythic—why spend PvP currency? Skip it.
Shadowfen Archive Maps (6,000 Tel Var): Treasure maps for a base game zone. Shadowfen sets are okay, but not worth the Tel Var. Pass.
Scripts: Lifesteal, Mitigation, Immobilizing Strike (20,000 Tel Var each): Lifesteal's underwhelming (vampiric drain's cooler), Mitigation's solid (grab if you missed Scholarium's), Immobilizing Strike's PvP viable but pricey. Mitigation's the pick here.
Skill Styles (20,000 Tel Var or 40 Undaunted Keys): Elemental Storm (Violet Purple), Momentum (Vibrant Yellow), Twin Slashes (Lilac Purple). The purple storm's a stunner—worth 20,000 Tel Var if you've got it, or wait for 40 Undaunted Keys from Maj al-Ragath. Cosmetic kings, rejoice!
Verdict: Skill styles steal the show—drip or drown your foes in purple glory. Buoyant Steel's a maybe for Thrassian fans. Mitigation's good if you're Tel Var-rich. The rest? Meh.

Tips for the Week

Fortunes: Prioritize Tremorscale Mask (4-5M gold value) or Taunt if you're a tank. Skip the overpriced junk.
Ink: Snap up Mitigation and Restore Resources—PvP goldmines.
Tel Var: Go for skill styles if you're flush; Buoyant Steel's a fishing shortcut. Avoid PvE buys with PvP currency.
Bonus: Jake's giveaway offers three chances—subscribe, like/comment, or spot the hidden word (flashed on-screen). Free stuff awaits!
