With only days left in Season 10, Blizzard has dropped two overlapping limited-time events that are arguably the best farming window we've ever had before a new season. Double XP + Massive Infernal Hordes Boosts (Live Right Now)

From November 25 to December 2 we have two events running at the same time:

• Compass to Carnage

  Dramatically increased Infernal Compass drops from Helltides, world bosses, and The Pit.
  Every Infernal Horde run gets extra Chaos Waves → significantly more Aether and materials.

• Mother's Blessing

  35 % increased experience and 50 % increased gold (multiplicative with other bonuses).

This combination makes Infernal Hordes the single best activity in the game right now. You earn boatloads of Aether for upgrades, huge XP toward Paragon 300, and extra gold for the coming reset.

Pro tip: Use the same choice-priority system that dominated Season 10 (elite density, burning Aether multipliers, and horde size boons). Almost all of those picks remain optimal in Season 11.

The Completely Redesigned Maxroll Planners

Maxroll just rolled out what might be their biggest quality-of-life update ever:

• Table of contents for instant jumping (Skills → Aspects → Paragon → Boss Drops)

• Inline skill tree and paragon board – no more loading new tabs

• One-click build variants (Legendary → Unique → Mythic) with color-coded differences

• Hover tooltips on every aspect, unique, and rune showing exact effects

• Gems and runewords now displayed directly in each gear slot

• Clean boss-drop tables instead of giant text walls

• Direct links to updated 1–70 leveling guides

All Chaos-themed items have been removed, and masterworking crits are reset to zero (as they will be for everyone on day one). Hammer of the Ancients, Thorns Barb, and several other builds already have fully updated Season 11 versions live.

Seasonal vs Eternal Realm

Important: When Season 10 ends, a withdrawal-only stash tab appears on your Eternal characters containing everything from Season 10. If you don't manually pull items out before Season 11 launches, they are permanently deleted.

1. Do I lose everything when Season 11 starts?

No. Gold, materials, keys, aspects, and normal gear all transfer to Eternal Realm. Only seasonal mechanics disappear.

2. Is it worth farming Infernal Hordes right now?

Absolutely – extra waves + 35 % XP is the best pre-season farm we've ever had.

3. Will my current masterworking stay?

No, masterworking resets for everyone. The new planners already reflect this.

4. Are the new Maxroll planners finished?

Core layout is live; minor tweaks and more builds are being added daily until launch.

5. When do I need to withdraw items from the seasonal stash tab?

Before the first login of Season 11, or they're gone forever.
