Blade & Soul Neo character creation event kicks off on February 18th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. PST, ahead of the global launch on February 25th. This guide covers everything you need to know to make the most of it—securing your name, choosing a server, and crafting your perfect character.
Moonwater Plains: The go-to for population, tied to a key game area. Recommended for active play.
Cinderlands: Less crowded, ideal for a chill experience.
Why It Matters: Dungeons are cross-server, but raids are server-specific. Coordinate with friends or your raid group to pick the same server - raiding with random players isn't an option.
Race and Class Options
Classes are race-locked, not gender-locked, giving you flexibility within limits:
Jin: Blade Master, Kung Fu Master, Assassin.
Gon (Tall): Kung Fu Master, Force Master, Destroyer.
Lyn (Short): Force Master, Assassin, Summoner, Blade Dancer (Lyn exclusive).
Yun (Normal): Blade Master, Kung Fu Master, Force Master.
Note: Blade Dancer and Summoner are Lyn-only - plan your race if these are your choices.
Character customisation
Neo's creation system is deep and detailed:
Complexity: Tons of options for hair, face, body and more - take your time to experiment.
Import Trick: Create a character in the live Blade & Soul game now, save it via “Manage Appearance” (found in Pictures > BNS Character Customization), and import the file into Neo. This will save you time and lock in your look early on.
Action Step: Download the live game as soon as possible, create your ideal character and save the file before 18 February.
Why It's Worth It
Name security: Claim your identity before the rush.
Server preparation: Prepare your crew for raids.
Time-saver: Import a pre-designed look to get you in the game faster on launch day.
