So you've rolled a Resto Druid on the World of Warcraft Classic 20th Anniversary servers, and now you're looking at those juicy raid meters. Good choice - Druids bring unparalleled utility and stealthy healing to the table. As of March 2025, we're in Phase 2, and we're barrelling towards Phase 3's Blackwing Lair on the 20th. Whether you're hunting Parses or just trying to keep your raid alive, this guide has got you covered. From spell ranks to broken trinkets, here's how to shine in Azeroth's endgame - no fluff, just the good stuff. Let's go heal some fools!

Spellcraft: Your healing arsenal

Resto Druids thrive on efficiency and timing. Here's the toolkit to top the charts:
Rejuvenation: Rank 10 for tanks taking constant hits - max healing, max effect. Drop to rank 7 when mana is low in the early stages. Improved Rejuvenation (3/3) boosts it by 15% - a must have.
Healing Touch: Rank 4 is your bread and butter - cheap, scales like a beast with +Healing, and perfect for main tank sniping. Rank 3 is a 1.5 second clutch heal after Nature's Grace proc (with buffs). Rank 10 pairs with Nature's Swiftness (3 minute cooldown) for those "oh crap" moments.
Regrowth: Mostly mana-hungry and clunky, skip it unless you're in BWL/AQ with the 5 tier 2 bonus (-0.2s cast). Pre-pull on tanks? Sure, if you've got time to sip mana back.
Spec tip: Moonglow/Nature's Grace beats Swiftmind for mana efficiency and casting speed. Swiftmend's burst is nice before ZG, but Rejuv + Healing Touch scales harder later.

Mana is king: Consumables & Innervate Hacks

You're a healer, not a charity worker - maximise your mana pool:
Flask of Distilled Wisdom: 2000 extra mana (25% more in Naxx gear). Expensive? Yep. Worth it? Hell, yeah - more casts, bigger heals.
Mana potions and runes: Chug major mana potions (early stages) or dark/demonic runes (later stages) on cooldown during bosses.
Innervate Trick: Keep it to yourself - sorry, Priest. Flask and pot like a maniac, then tell your raid leader that your output justifies it. Pro move: Innervate while drinking between trash pulls - full mana in three ticks, then spam Rejuvs.
Reality check: Flasks aren't essential for clearing content, but they're a great way to top up your meter. No mana, no heals - simple math.

Gear up: Phase by phase must-haves

Gear defines your output. Prioritise these per phase - reserve them if your guild has DKP:
Phase 1 (Molten Core): Wild Growth Spaulders-best shoulders until Naxx. Skip the level 3 shoulders; they'll beat them.
Stage 2 (World bosses): Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas - Druid class trinket from Dire Maul. Equip 'til Eye of the Dead from Stage 6.
Stage 3 (Blackwing Lair): Rejuvenating Gem (trinket) and Empowered Leggings-BIS trousers forever. Aim for 8/8 Tier 2 - the extra Rejuv tick beats Tier 3 in fights like Sapphiron.
Stage 4 (Zul'Gurub): Wushoolay's Charm of Nature - 40% healing touch cast speed boost. Use it for short, brutal fights (Hakkar, Jin'do) - a gold mine.
Phase 5 (Ahn'Qiraj): Idol of Rejuvenation - best idol in the game, period. Pair with Scepter of the False Prophet - top weapon until KT drops better.
Phase 6 (Naxxramas): Eye of the Dead - Unbroken. +450 healing to your next 5 spells, but rejuvenation doesn't count. 30 seconds of juiced-up HoTs - Priests weep, Druids thrive.
Trinket Exchange: Grab any trinkets in use (e.g. Rejuv Gem, Wushoolay's) and swap them between the trash. Time them for bosses - don't start a fight with them on cooldown.

Parsing vs. performance: The truth

Heal parsing in the top 1% often means sloppy raiding or sniping overkill. A 100 Parse might just be AFK healers letting you shine. Focus on:
Effective healing: Roll rejuvs on tank/melee pre-damage - don't overheal.
Clutch plays: Nature's Swiftness + Healing Touch saves tanks from stupid moves.
Raid Survival: Meters don't matter if everyone is dead - prioritise mechanics over sniping.
Green parries don't mean you're rubbish, and pink doesn't mean you're a god. Balance performance with keeping the team upright.

Phase-specific tips

Phase 1-2: Rely on rank 4 Healing Touch - Mana is tight, efficiency is key. Flask for Molten Core's Domo/Rag.
Phase 3: BWL's quick fights favour Tier 2's Rejuv tick. Swap Eye of the Dead for Onyxia pulls if you get it early.
Stage 4-5: Wushoolay's + Max Healing Touch crushes ZG/AQ burst phases - time it right.
Phase 6: Eye of the Dead + 8/8 Tier 2 = Naxx domination. HoT the raid and laugh at other healers.

Bonus: Prepare for TBC

Anniversary realms head to The Burning Crusade in 2026. Eye of the Dead carries into early TBC raids (even Black Temple!) - stack it. Stack +healing and Mp5 gear in Naxx; it'll smooth out the 60-70 grind.
